The palace is lovely with its original charm. It should be noted that breakfast cannot be served prior to 8am so those travelling early will be aware if this as many im have missed out as I have. Also it should be noted early check out prior to 8am means no assistance with luggage down several flight of stairs. I am fortunate to of been able to manage on my own.

Obsessed with this property! From the second we walked in, the service from staff was amazing. Our room was beautiful and huge. Breakfast served to the room in the morning was such a sweet touch. We will definitely book again if returning to Lisbon!

The breakfast was delivered to our room each morning, earliest time 8:30am. It was delicious and included egg, bacon, potatoes, yogurt, fruit , and selection on rolls and breads, pastry, cheese and ham, orange juice and coffee! The staff was more than helpful. They were professional and very friendly. Our only complaint was for our street facing room it was noisy at night. There were earplugs provided along with slippers and a robe. Would defiantly recommend!

Go to Dear Lisbon if you want to be treated like royalty. The room was very spacious and the staff were so helpful and accommodating from beginning to end. The breakfast in the room every morning was amazing. I recommend this hotel to anyone looking to visit Lisbon.

We had a super twin room (number 8) with an unrivalled view to the palace, the river and central Lisbon. Quiet street, and woke up to happy birds chirping in the tree outside in the courtyard. Very clean, super location in Chiado. Delicious breakfast served in room. Friendly staff, historical building, amazing restaurant (Rocco) just across the road. Short walk to waterfront and shopping. Downsides: Inflexible breakfast timings meant we had breakfast later than we would have wanted, timings are restricted and on a «first come, first serve» system which was incomprehensible. No facilities, bar the super room. It is essentially a very pleasant and upmarket Bed and Breakfast.

The location is perfect. The staff are very friendly and helpful. We truly enjoyed the scrumptious breakfast, slept well on the comfortable bed. There was noise from the street and from the plumbing as mentioned in other reviews, but we were not bothered. The shower/toilet room has no door, so it is ok for my sister and I with the shutter doors closed between the bedroom and the small lounge. The only problem is the TV not having English channels.

Best experience I have ever had at a hotel. Amazing room, very welcoming and kind staff. Beautiful location right in the center of the city. I will recommend this hotel to every friend that I have who travels to Lisbon in the future. Amazing experience and my fiancee and I couldn’t be happier!!

Everything about the property was excellent. We really enjoyed the staff and their helpfulness, they went out of their way to make our stay special. We highly recommend the property and would visit them again if ever in the area. Our room is extremely large with huge sitting area. The bathroom was a bit small relative to the room size but nothing to complain about. The breakfast was phenomenal and delivered promptly each morning. The rooms are 3 flights up without a lift, but the staff handled out luggage. So it's not a problem unless you have mobility problems.

I had a great one night stay at the Dear Lisbon - Palace Chiado Suites. This is not a hotel to book if you have trouble with stairs, but they do everything possible to make it as easy as possible, including moving your luggage for you promptly. Super friendly staff, unique accommodation and great breakfast delivered to your room. I would highly recommend!
