The staff was immediately friendly and kind. They helped us upgrade our room, leave our bags before check-in, and gave us a tour of the guesthouse. The kitchen was clean and big. The room was beautiful and comfortable. There is no soap or shampoo but it was okay as we brought our own.

Have no fear about booking this place. It is clean, charming, affordable and central. It is not a five-star hotel, but it is a five-star value for money. The naysayers are the usual crowd who want the Ritz-Carlton for hostel prices.

Very nice place. Separate rooms not room in one apartment. Many rooms with your own show and toilets. Quite not crowded.Clean,closed,5-15 min walking distance from everywhere.Nice people. Highly recommend. Dmitry

Good for a one night stay. It's perfect for what I needed. Spacious, clean and there is a TV. Close to a bar as well. And a quick walk to the main street with all the restaurants and tourists things. Also close to Coimbra -B, the train station I used to get in and out of Coimbra. About 20min walk.

In a historic old building, the rooms are clean and comfy, and a good size, each with it's own sink. The shared bathrooms are very clean. There is a communal, very well equipped kitchen, and a lounge / dining area, all very modern and clean. Great stylish touches of art, lampshades and furnishings. You can see that a lot of love and thought has gone into this place., not just using cheap stuff. Perfect internet connection, too, the first time in Portugal for us. Fantadtic value at the price! Highly recommend for a few nights if you're in Coimbra to explore this fascinating city.

I stayed here with my boyfriend for one night. Very cheap 11 euros each for a private room the personal was nice. The position is ok, the guest house is fully furnished with a kitchen with everything you need to cook and a living room to eat. The room was average, I am not sure if I appreciate the bidet on the side of the bed.

The location of this hotel is in the center and it only needs a few minutes to walk to the center or bus stop. Also, it's close to the continental shop. The toilet was clean and tidy. The friendliness of the staff was great.

I made my reservation through the hotel's website without a glitch, and I got confirmation within 48 hours. I had reserved a single room on the est floor that was the least expensive and the most roomy of that class. Although not luxurious, it was clean, and the furniture was in good shape. The bed was quite comfortable with two pillows and an extra blanket. In the corner, there was a sink and a bidet. Plain white towels and soap were available. The apartment didn't have a phone or t. I. But the wifi worked consistently. Regarding soundproofing, I could hear the t. I. From one of my neighbors very clearly, but once in my room, the door was closed, and it was quite loud. The majority of the street noise was also blocked by the double windows. There was significant construction on the road during my stay, but it stopped in the evening. Take note that there is no air conditioning. Two bathrooms were just across the corridor. One was roomy but had a window that opened directly into the back hallway, which you had to close. The other was smaller and had no windows. Both restrooms were reasonably clean, but one had a little mildew in one corner. A supermarket and a bakery both offered enough of a variety to prepare a simple breakfast and supper, but the hotel does not offer breakfast. There is an agreement
