Extremely convenient location centrally located in Old San Juan made for easy walking to both Forts, the pier, and around to many great restaurants and shops around the district. The apartment itself is in fantastic shape, recently remodeled and stylish. It was perfectly clean and very quiet. The stairwell was clean, however what appeared to be water damage on the walls created a moldy, musty smell in the whole stairwell. No sign of this in the apartment, which had good air quality. Received an email with the code to get into the stairwell and the apartment the day of checkin as promised, and instructions were clear. There’s a parking garage just a block down the street for about $25/day that allows you to come and go as you please—just be sure to get a ticket earlier in the day to ensure they have room for you as you cannot park on the streets. Cars without resident stickers will get ticketed.

The property was perfect! Location is fantastic, it was clean, spacious, and had everything we needed. The only issue is the phone number listed to call is the incorrect phone number, and the woman that answered couldn’t direct me to the correct one. It states to call at least 48hrs in advance for check in information which was worrisome when I could not get ahold of anybody. Instead, the check in information and codes to enter the building were emailed to me the day of check in.

Beautiful property especially in the middle of Old San Juan. Only issue there is no communication with literally anyone if something happens or if you need anything. Also bathroom could be cleaner and they only provide two towels for the entire stay.

The building presented is 155 and the place was 153, thanks for the police that help me I found it. There was no sing and cero communication for help.. When finally arrive there was no light, but at least we had A/C, weird. In the night the light when on. Place is clean, good condition and nearby many places.

El lugar es muy bueno, la ubicacion Excelente, la limpiza buenisima. Tiene mucha seguridad, es muy comodo bastante espacio, enseres electricos en excelentes condiciones, los baños estan increibles, ambiente agradable etc. Areas de mejoras es en la comunicacion, la comunicacion con el Host es muy pobre, cuando hize la reservacion me proveia un numero de telefono del Host en el cual indicaba que debia comunicarme 48 horas antes pero a ese numero nunca me contestaron (ni llamadas ni mensajes) y por la plataforma escribi varias veces y tampoco recibi respuesta, hasta no ser el ultimo dia... estuvimos con un problema de energia electrica alreadedor de 5 horas y nunca me contestaron cuando me comunique. Mejorar la comunicacion entre el guest y el Host y este lugar seria EXCELENTE opcion para quedarse en el viejo san juan.

the apartment has a kitchen and a supermarket 2 min walk away, which is very good, but the apartment does not have a television, it also does not have an elevator and we had to go up to the 3rd floor with the baby, the stroller, luggage and food . the apartment has many bugs, my 2-year-old son was stung in the eye and the beds are super uncomfortable. Also, you can't move the shower, so you have to wet your hair every day.

The property is not clearly described on Expedia prior to booking. The room I choose only had 1 photo. The reason I booked this is for my 67 yr old mother to stay close to us. Closest and only available within proximity to us. It was a 3 flight walk up- not described on the room listing. Upon entering the rom everything looked nice. However, a few minutes in I saw the room was not properly clean. Finger prints all over the fridge and microwave. The sink in the bathroom did not look wiped down. My kids stayed with my mother for the night and the beds only had 1 thin bedsheet and 1 super thin flannel blanket. My oldest son wanted to sleep on the sofa and there was no extra bedding/ blankets. Overall it was a nice unit, but I did not feel comfortable with the overall cleanliness of the room nor did they make it comfortable with blankets for the night.

Water coming in the room from the ceiling , got my luggage and computer bag wet . No response form the owners , I asked for no reimbursement. I did not even asked for my portee y damage replacement . Only hotel fees reimbursement. They offer me nothing , not even called me . It’s a shame I liked the place but was let down . They won’t see me again unless they get back to me .

We did not stay at this property. They canceled our reservation we had made through Expedia without notifying us or Expedia. They also have no direct phone line you can call. We found out when we were on our way there and we messaged them because we had not received checkin instructions. Very bad experience!

I booked quick vacation hoping that this property would deliver what it claimed. Unfortunately, the communication & assistance this property offered was untimely and unhelpful. The day we arrived we noticed there was no hot water. I reached out to them through the Expedia messaging portal & aside from it taking way too long for them to respond, we were met with the solution of “running the water for a few minutes” as if that wasn’t the first thing we tried. Nonetheless, I thought to myself “maybe I didn’t run it long enough” that day, we ran the water for upwards of 15 minutes in hopes we would get hot water. I even went as far to turn the knob in every position possible just in case,&still nothing. We tried the shower and both sinks that were in the property. When I reached out with concern for this again, there was again — lack of timely response. Then, I wrote a follow up message detailing that I wanted to resolve this privately with some type of compensation, as lack of hot water is in-humane, & avoid leaving a bad review. The representative of this property replied back to me that they find it “amusing” I am “threatening” a bad review if I don’t get compensated for having an uncomfortable stay. Then I was told the plumber checked the property&there was hot water, as if I would waste my time (literally DAYS) trying to communicate with this property that, again, lacks a timely response. Overall, I didn’t appreciate the attitude&lack of assistance. Don’t stay here.

I saw the other bad reviews, but decided to risk it since I needed the space. No wifi, one of the ac units didn't work, no response from the host, and tons of street noise, but what actually made this a negative experience was being charged $200 for something that had been broken prior to our arrival. The phone number listed isn't valid and the additional phone number and email that hotels.com has aren't valid. There's no way to actually contact this property. Plus the address listed is different than the actual, I can only assume they changed it to get rid of all the prior bad reviews.

DO NOT STAY HERE!!!! I took the other reviews too lightly but they are correct. I needed to update my card info to process the payment for this reservation but instead of letting me do so, the property canceled my reservation the day I was arriving, while I was traveling, without contacting me first, which is against Hotels.com policy. The phone number listed is fake. I sent the host MULTIPLE messages trying to update my card, they never responded. Hotels.com customer service could not even get a hold of them. I am an experienced traveler & have encountered many different situations regarding reservation confusion & miscommunication... this was by far the MOST UNPROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE EVER!!! Thank god for the wonderful Hotels.com customer service that helped me rebook at another hotel 1000x nicer & friendlier.

Worst !!!! Horrible !!! Please do not book a stay at this place. And details of my experience with hotels.com and the owner of this place…. 1. We checkin to the place to discover that it was kept in a very unhygienic and dirty condition. Floors looked unclean. 2. The sheets didn’t looked like washed for a while. And that’s certainly a bad experience considering Covid situation as well. 3. Most unreliable owners - Friday the day we checkin, we get a message that “ THERE'S NO ELEVATOR, MUST CLIMB STAIRS”so picked out bags and climbed 3 floors 4. Host Availability: Host is available by inbox, text or phone call from 9AM-6PM Monday-Friday. Saturday & Sundays host will only be available for emergencies (negligence from guest like leaving the keys inside the unit or misplacing keys is NOT an emergency).**Be mindful of night calling, your host needs their sleep as well** Like seriously…. Once we landed on Friday, host won’t be available untill Monday morning, then why do they host a place, if they are not able to cater basic needs 6. Worst of all - be mindful of this unhygienic place, irrespective of your number of days you stay, they will not keep a single towel available or provide any change of towels. 7. From 8am onwards the construction around will wake you up… HOTELS.com - the customer service did not do a thing. It’s the most shameful thing….. after booking so many times, they were not helpful AT ALL… that’s the kind of customer you will receive it here !!!!!!

The location was the only good thing about this place. The room was awful. AC didnt work well and the air from it smelled like mold. They bathroom had mildew and mold on the walls and ceilings. There were spider webs in every corner. And there were dead roaches near the kitchen area and around the bed. How are they going to charge a mandatory $100+ cleaning fee when the room wasnt even clean? Terrible experience. Go somewhere else even if that other place is more money. This place was gross.

What a nightmare. I checked in 48 hours as stated in the reservation confirmation. I did not receive any reply. I did not think twice about it, since stuff happens. When I did not receive the access code the day before my stay as most people have stated in the other reviews, I inquired about the access code via email and telephone. The hotel did not answer the telephone. The hotel's response via email was to cancel the reservation. I tried rebooking immediately. I was told the room was sold out, which means they probably double booked the room. I was left in San Juan without a hotel. Before you book this hotel, ask yourself if you want to support this type of business. In the future, I will pay more attention to the reviews next time. It was a clear warning of the hotel's lack of customer service.
