We just got back from a trip to South Africa. Our stay at IZWE was unlike any other. From start to finish, the attention to detail was fantastic. The staff made us feel right at home and treated us like family. Our game drives with Angus were very memorable because they allowed us to not just see the animals, but also spend time in their natural habitat and observe how they interact with each other. Every meal was a gourmet experience that was carefully planned and planned. The only thing we would change about our stay at IZWE would be to extend it longer. We cannot wait to return!.

We were amazed by the scenery as we plowed in from a sober flight. Large skies, wide open areas, and wild landscapes, but not in Africa. Despite being peaceful at night but seeing animals playing, several weeks of very clear blue skies, crisp, chilly mornings, and cool afternoons on game drives, and martinis and angus jokes at sunsets. For those looking for an authentic yet luxurious safari, this is a memorable experience. In 2015 and 2016, I was a guest at Ishawe. We had a great experience at Ishawe when I arrived from sober when I was in the helicopter from a vast expanse of open and wild terrain. We were astonished to see mountains and grassland when we came in from sober as we entered the helicopter. I then see it from there. At the top of a drainage separating from grasslands to a river valley a natural corridor for prey from plains game, there was a continuous movement of game through and past the lodge, including elephants and rhino, zebra and kudu, cheetahs and lion, land, and klipspringer. Everyone is just outside our door or by the boma. Magic.

We would absolutely return! Izingwe lodge is a complex of three individual private guest villas located in the Welgevonden game reserve in South Africa, about 3 hours from Johannesburg. Each king-sized bed, fireplace, sitting area, large bathroom, and porch are exquisitely decorated and very comfortable. It is possible to observe an elephant drinking from the nearby infinity pool! The lodge's different sitting areas are spacious and lovely, with a variety of dining options and an impressive African bar bursting with artifacts and memorabilia. Dinner is served in the fenced boma with a huge fire pit. The meals were great, and the desserts were out of this world! We enjoyed sitting in the viewing room next to the boma or the tree watch tower overlooking izingwes watering hole, which included rhinos, giraffes, elephants, zebras, and kudu, among other wildlife! The two game drives a day, one in the early morning and one in the late afternoon, with Angus and Marion were fantastic! Angus is an expert field guide who was able to track and identify all the game, including the huge lions! Marion also has professional field expertise, particularly in the flora, fauna, and specific bird species. On our many game drives in a wellmaintained game

The main lodge is gorgeous and wellappointed. Simple, timeless African design is cozy and not overly done And just wait until it's time to eatyoull be amazed! Chef Tryphina is a master at her craft. Game drives are also something to behold. Angus is a great naturalist and I couldn't have asked for a better bush tour. Angus is very knowledgeable about many fauna groups and as a naturalist myself, this gives me the opportunity to have many hours of productive conversation about our natural world. We guarantee that this is the perfect place to visit if you are a photographer because there are numerous opportunities to photograph animals, both large and small.

We recently returned from a holiday trip to Isewe Lodge, returning from our base in Capetown. What an extraordinary moment! Book it immediately if you are reading this and are considering a visit! Our modest group of four had exclusive access to the resort. The dedication of angus and marion to making our stay unforgettable was quite apparent and admirable. Without a doubt, we have never met a game ranger or a team as eager and dedicated as Angus and all of Itze. He always went above and beyond to track wildlife and share his rich knowledge. The stunning setting, wildlife, the company of angus, marion, and their daughter Megan, the sun rise coffees, and the sundowner Gins made for some of the most wonderful game drives! The main lodge is stylish, cozy, and has a gorgeous view. We were made to feel very welcome and encouraged to use the lodge and the kitchen as our own, especially for the freshly baked biscuits! The villas are opulent, extremely comfortable, and relaxing, especially after the sun rise game drives! We ought to also mention the cuisine! Everything was amazing, including breakfasts, dinners, lunch, homebrew, wine, and so on. The real treat was dinner under the African stars around the boma, with a rhino dropping by to say hello. We have had many great safaris before
