About Madikwe Safari Lodge
The lodge lies within 76,000 hectares of South African game reserve, perfectly located for birdwatching and safaries. The city of Johannesburg is less than a 5 hour drive from the resort and the Botswana border is reachable in an hour and a half.
Three unique luxury lodges are each distinctive in their own right and will appeal to different types of travellers. Each of the 20 suite have an en-suite bathroom, fireplace and a spacious living area. Suites include a private plunge pool and air conditioning.
Madikwe is a Malaria-Free Reserve. There is therefore no need for anti-Malarial prophylaxis. Perfect for families with younger kids! This is the most family friendly of the MORE properties. We have designed an incredible kids' programme, which will keep the younger ones entertained while parents enjoy a little R ‘n R.
The ECO HOUSE is an educational (and entertainment) centre built specifically for kids – and anyone with a fascination for the wild world and its inhabitants.
