We visited Cape Town in South Africa and stayed at a great hotel in the middle of town called Mandala Rhodes. It was the first time we had tried to book a two-bedroom apartment. The flat was in this hotel and had a big sitting room, lounge kitchen, fridge, freezer, washing machine, and dryer. Each day the apartment was cleaned and new linen delivered. We paid for breakfast and went to one of the three restaurants located at the base of the hotel. Motherland was a coffee shop with fresh coffee and a choice of fresh pastries and anything you wanted, the staff was always greeted with a smile. We went to south point, went on safari, walked on table mountain, hopped on and off the blue and red buses and visited the vineyards. Finally, there was a rooftop outdoor pool at the end of the day. The receptionist was very helpful and kind, especially wendy. We give it a ten out of 10, please do not miss it. The excellent weather, England I South Africa cricket and cheap dining in restaurants all fresh food. We left beautiful weather 29 degrees and returned home to rain and 2 degrees. We will remember them forever.

Excellent journey, clean, cozy, safe, and very affordable accommodations, as one would expect in any major city. Internet. Modern, friendly staff, and in the center of everything. Was able to travel easily to the wine country to see 7 sisters winery, the cape, and even the pink area of cape town. Safe, reasonable a must stay when in cape town.

I have stayed there in the past and it’s just as nice today as it was years ago.

The price is expensive, and the location is good. The bathroom is small, it is so noisy and smelly, because the faucet is broken, the shower and basin are too loose, and the phone system doesn't function. The breakfast selection is very good. The room and service are okay, the bathroom is very unclean, the roof is dirty and the phone is broken, the room is large and the location is good.

The biggest issue was that the neighbors were partying up to 5am in the morning and there was no security to ensure that this was controlled.

Check in was nerve wrecking as all comms were on whatsapp with no one in the building knowing what to do or what codes to use. The pool was not available to use. The street noise was so bad constantly to such a degree that we were unable to sleep at night. Water running from the ceiling light in the kitchen was not attend to even after we talk with a man on he emergency phone number. This was at 21:00 at night. We checked out immediately due to an electric fire hazard in the kitchen. The security man let us out of the building after we put the key into a mailbox room at 22:30. We had to find emergency accommodation at 21:30 at night in an unsafe city. Cape Town South Africa.
