We had a very pleasant stay. The staff were extremely friendly, informative, and genuinely understanding when our plans changed suddenly, which made a stressful situation much easier to manage. Their flexibility and professionalism really stood out. The food was good and consistently enjoyable. Overall, a comfortable stay with excellent service. We would happily return.

The overall experience was amazing, the place is gorgeous, the staff was great especially Boitumelo and the cleaners. The only issue is the place not having allevators, we had to carry heavy luggage up and down

At first me and my partner were skeptical about spending the whole weekend at Road Lodge but all those doubts were erased as soon as we checked in. The service was awesome and the peace that came with it was proper, the only disadvantage was that the rooms don't come with a fridge which proved to be a problem.

The reception staff was friendly and helpfull. There was just nothing that we could complain about. My husband has health problems, and without knowing that, we got a room on the ground floor. There is no reason to complain about anything

Always the Road Lodge does not disappoint. Quiet and clean. Perfect for a good night sleep. Very comfortable rooms and bed, nice shower. Strong and fast wifi internet. Placed in a strategic location in Richards Bay not far from any place you would like to visit in this town. Check in was quick and easy as receptionist remembered us from previous stays in the hotel. Will recommend the hotel to all. Reasonable price and comfort.

Was really blown away by the service of the front desk staff who assisted us with placing items in both their fridge and freezer for us overnight. This really helped as we were between holidays when we di an overnight stay. The pool was also an attraction as we had a late afternoon swim to coll off after our days travels.

The room was very clean and clean, and the towels had a nice smell. I had a nice night at this hotel, and the continental breakfast was excellent. The service was satisfactory and the prices were not too bad.

The staff were very polite and rude, as was the staff at the reception desk. Even the breakfast was not very good, they have to improve the quality of the food served every day. The food menu was also very limited and didn't want to serve pork with a beef taste. Not great for those who don't eat pork.
