I couldn’t fault this place! The staff were fantastic, the food was awesome. I’d suggest using this place for a few nights then get accommodation in Kruger. Albeit this place was so close it was a good stepping stone to move around and explore if you have your own car.. no uber in this area shop across the road if you need extra’s Highly recommend Michael

We had a great family stay at Sabie River Bush Lodge in one of the log cabins that had lots of room for a family of 4. The staff here go over and beyond to ensure that your stay is memorable. The breakfast and dinner were included in our rate and the food was so delicious! Kudos to the cook! The grounds are well maintained and the view overlooking Sabie River and Kruger Park was so peaceful and serene. One of their guides Caska took us on an unforgettable sunrise safari at Kruger Park. Thank you!

The staff was amazing and very helpful. The location is wonderful about ten minutes the Kruger gate and ten minutes to shopping mall in hazyview. The food was excellent and the room was clean and well maintained. Our only issue was with the pool area. The deck is in need of repair and the pool had algae on the top so we didn't use it. Other travelers were also very friendly. Would stay again.

O hotel é incrível! A vista do restaurante e piscina para o Kruger vale por toda a experiência. A equipe é incrível, super atenciosos e gentis, desde a recepção até os guias do Safari. Destaco Kabelo, um dos garçons, que sempre nos recebia com sorrisos e simpatia. Fechamos os safáris com o próprio hotel e foi a melhor opção possível! A comida também é bem gostosa. Não temos nada a reclamar.

We enjoyed a very comfortable stay. All the hotel staff could not do enough for you, the room was lovely, and the food was well prepared and tasty. The location is what sells it for us, right on the banks of the Sabie River and 20 minutes drive from Paul Kruger Gate and entry into the wonderful Kruger Park. We would happily stay here again.

The highlights of our stay here were the incredibly friendly staff and the generous food options. The service was akin to 5 star hotels - attentive, thoughtful and friendly. The food was plentiful and it was nice to have choices for dinner and breakfast. The room was suitable for our needs for a few nights and very clean and tidy.

We had a great stay. The property looks over the Sabie River and has a family of resident hippos to entertain you. The staff were friendly and Lucas in particular went above and beyond when my hire car had a puncture in a tyre and he went with me, after his shift finished,to the tyre repair place and helped me to get it fixed. I thoroughly recommend the lodge for providing the ambience and great setting of the really expensive luxury lodges but at a fraction of the price.

We enjoyed our stay so much. Lodge where so easy to be and we felt our self very safe also. Everywhere where very clean and a hole place where decorated very cosy. Staff where so friendly and always ready to help. Breakfast where very excelent and dinner also. Remember to have vines, they where so good. We had lucky to see 9 elephant in a backyard and 2 hippos. Also location where perfekt about 20 km from Paul Kruger gate. Best regards Minna and Heikki from Finland
