1. Parties, Events & Noise

Parties and events are strictly prohibited at the property.

The property is located in a quiet residential neighbourhood, and guests are expected to respect neighbours at all times.

Quiet hours are from 21:00 to 10:00.

Excessive noise, gatherings, or disturbances during quiet hours may result in complaints, escalation, or termination of the booking without refund.

2. Guests & Occupancy

Only registered guests listed on the reservation are permitted on the property.

Additional visitors, gatherings, or unregistered guests are not allowed without prior written approval.

Failure to comply may result in immediate action, including removal of guests or cancellation of the booking.

3. Cleanliness & Use of the Property

Guests are expected to treat the home with care and leave it in a reasonably tidy condition throughout their stay.

No eating is permitted in the bedrooms.

Furniture may not be moved inside or outside the property.

If the property is left in a condition requiring more than a standard clean (including excessive mess, spills, rubbish, or misuse of the home), additional cleaning will be required.

Any extra cleaning time, return visits, or additional cleaning days required as a result of the property being left in an unacceptable condition will be charged to the guest, over and above any cleans included in the booking.

4. Towels & Linen Use

White bathroom towels are for indoor bathroom use only.

Please do not use bathroom towels for the beach.

These towels are not equipped for beach use, and sand causes damage to towels and washing machines during laundering.

Towels damaged or excessively soiled due to misuse may result in replacement or additional cleaning charges.

5. Parking (Strict)

The property can accommodate a maximum of three (3) vehicles inside the premises.

No vehicles are permitted to park outside the property gate or outside the yard at any time.

Parking on the street, pavements, verges, or in front of neighbouring properties is not allowed, as it causes disturbances to residents.

The rental applies only to the property itself and does not extend to surrounding or neighbouring areas.

Guests are responsible for ensuring all vehicles comply with these parking rules.

6. No Smoking Policy (Strict)

Smoking is strictly prohibited inside the flatlet and the property, including cigarettes, cigars, vapes, hookahs, or any smoking devices.

Any evidence of smoking inside the property will result in:

An immediate fine of R2,000, used for specialised cleaning equipment and deodorisation, and

Immediate cancellation of the booking without refund.

Guests may be held liable for any additional costs required to remove smoke odours or damage beyond the stated fine.

7. Check-out & Departure

Check-out is strictly by 10:00 AM.

Guests are kindly requested to notify management 15–30 minutes before check-out to allow sufficient time for inspection and preparation for incoming guests.

Late check-outs without prior approval may result in additional charges.

8. Damage, Wear & Reporting

Guests are expected to use the property responsibly and avoid behaviour that causes excessive wear and tear.

Any damages or breakages must be reported promptly.

Damage, misuse, or abnormal cleaning requirements may result in additional charges.

9. Compliance & Acknowledgement

By staying at the property, guests acknowledge and agree to comply with all house rules.

Failure to adhere to these rules may result in fines, additional charges, escalation to security or authorities, or termination of the booking.
