For all guest bookings with period of stay from November 1st 2012 onwards, a city tax must be paid directly to the hotel during check out for a maximum of 7 consecutive nights. For 5* hotel: a city tax of 2.50 per person per night in Barcelona and Catalonia; 4* hotel: a city tax of 1.25 Euros per person per night in Barcelona (1 Euros in Catalonia); Rest of hotels & apartments: a city tax of 0.75 Euros per person, per night in Barcelona (0.50 Euros in Catalonia). This is an additional charge and it is not included in the room rate.
