Camp leopard was a fantastic experience. Sustainability was one of my favorite features, even for decor, all the little details made an impact. The staff was friendly, the food was excellent, and marc was very knowledgeable. This is definitely a mystery for someone who is experiencing clamping for the first time. The camps were clean and very accommodating. I highly recommend Camp leopard.

Most peaceful sleep on our trip to Sri Lanka. There's something incomparable about going to sleep and awakening to the sounds of only the birds from Yala National Park. The staff welcomed us and made us feel almost as if we were on a home stay. Easygoing. Great food, wonderful and candid conversation. They even curried a jackfruit for dinner that we brought. And fantastic tours with Shermal of the various blocks of Yala National Park. He really knows that park and had a keen and respectful aesthetic for nature and the animals. Everything worked. I wish we stayed longer.

Our stay was fantastic. The camp was very beautifully kept and designed. We had a lovely welcoming when we arrived with drinks and talked through the camp. The safari was also excellent with Camp Leopard having the best equipment and vehicles for the safari. I had a great time and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The tents were fantastic, and beautifully put together. I could not recommend this place enough.

One of the rare camps in the Gala region that offers a premium, ethical way to visit a gala complex in the traditional manner is Camp Leopard. We arrived as african conservationists with high expectations and were delighted to be greeted by marc and his team. Marc has offered us a unique experience, not just because of his extraordinary guiding skills, but also because of his genuine friendliness and sense of humor and his ability to respond quickly to his guests' demands. If you want to get on a leopard by fast and inexpensive transportation, choose another location because this is not mark ethics. If you want to experience a really respectable safari, sleep at a camp with a high standard of sustainability, have delicious cuisine, and be hosted and directed by a young but very experienced team, Camp Leopard is the one. Of course, we saw leopards, but the primary focus of our experience was tracking, birdwatching, engaging in exchanges, and exploring the diversity of ecosystems in a beautiful gala. Thanks, marc, chat, Ti wanna, and the rest of the team for a wonderful stay!.

Camp Leopard was utterly incredible. We are a group of six friends who enjoy traveling. The staff made us feel incredibly welcome from the minute we stepped in. The cuisine was excellent. They made sure you weren't hungry. Afternoon tea and cake by the wetlands watching elephants bathe. Lunch by the river and relaxing in the hammocks afterwards. Breakfast on top of the big rock with 360 degree views. The brd night was also excellent. Makes stores by the fire. Our highlight was seeing leopards two separate occasions. We also saw elephants, crocodiles monitor lizards, a jackal, languor monkeys macaques and many birds to mention. We stayed for three nights and the tents were very comfortable. Absolutely recommend Camp Leopard. Everyone goes above and beyond to make your stay memorable. Thank you Mark and the camp leopard staff.

This was by far the most unusual location we visited in Sri Lanka. Marc built and organized the camp brilliantly. He has assembled a very friendly and dedicated staff to provide the best service possible with no cost to the surrounding area. We had the most delicious Sri Lankan food and there was plenty of it. I also had my first two safaris and was able to see all the animals on our bucket list without bothering them at any time. Marc is a real encyclopedia of the surroundings and can tell you almost everything about the species you can find in Gala. Overall, I would recommend this place to anyone wanting to escape the urban atmosphere and learn about local animals. It was truly an amazing experience for us!.

I highly suggest this place. We took a half-day safari and had a fantastic time. Marc, our ranger, was amazing. He has so much knowledge! I also was impressed by the driver. We saw elephants, buffalos, crocodiles, and leopards. Don't be afraid if you see monkeys.

It's difficult to use the same approach to compare adventure camp accommodation to a city hotel. For what it was the accommodation was good and the hospitality very good. Minor maintenance issues around the camp but this did not impact on or distract from the experience.

Very friendly owners as their dogs, good simple curry dinner, good camp atmosphere with candles and campfire. Tents and fittings/amenities old, tatty, and tired, needing repair and refitting. Cleanliness not high although bed and sheets clean. Breakfast and lift out of camp not ready for when we had requested it, and rather poor breakfast served without any questions of choice/preferences so we didn’t eat most of it. Stayed in lost of different places in Sri Lanka and can confidently say that Accommodation, meals and safaris VERY expensive for what you get. Would not recommend until evidence of changes in all of these things.
