We enjoyed our visit here much, and we will return this place the following time. In September 2017, my partner and I spent about a week at Marakolliya Jasmine Homestay, and we had a wonderful time. The space is tranquil and serene because there are only two guestrooms on the property. The tiled room itself was very roomy and spotless, with a large poster bed, desk, fan, Western toilet, hot water shower, and other amenities. All meals were cooked on request, and the Sri Lankan breakfast was excellent! We were also given the option to prepare and use our own food as needed. Perfect for longterm slayers or individuals who get ill from eating out. The beach is approximately tenfifteen minutes to walk or a few minutes on bicycle or motorcycle. Mayan has a scooter for rent every day and promptly returned the same afternoon with a second when we requested two. Its about ten minutes to stroll into town and a wonderful ride out of town to the other beaches, temples, and hills surrounding tangible. I highly advise getting a scooter, but its simple to arrange a tub from her as well. The father of Mayans father had a bathtub at the time and was able to take us when necessary.

Stayed here for 2 nights in a big, clean room. Huge bed, great fans and host family couldn't be nicer. We were given a tour of the garden and had a great stay. A short walk to the beach and our host dropped us off at the bus stop at the end of our stay.

We stayed for three nights and I have never met such genuine and friendly people! Everything was excellent, including the food, rooms, location, and hosts. Therefore, do not hesitate to eat in the guesthouse because it is absolutely wonderful! They showed us their garden where they grow a lot of what is served for both breakfast and lunch. They also shared a lot about themselves with us so we could learn more about the culture of Sri Lanka. I felt really good there, and so did my partner. If there is space, I wouldn't hesitate a second to stay. The service is excellent and genuine because they have two rooms. I felt very welcomed and taking care of the visitors because they really care about their guests. Thank you very much and care!.
