The serengeti reserve is truly an amazing place to visit in Tanzania. After a day of driving through the Serengeti region, consider sitting down in your lap in front of your tent, sipping your gin and tonic, and observing early evening falls on herds of zebras and wildebeest roaming the plains directly in front of you, while the staff prepares the campfire, youll be sitting by the fire for dinner which will be served by a professional kitchen staff in the middle of the bush. Lion prides may roar and roam through the camp at night. All of it at once. Youll experience days of sightseeing of almost anything you could ever imagine with the aid of highly qualified guides.

The hotel is quite close to the main entrance, so very close to the city center. Matambezi has a good staff. There is a restaurant in the hotel that serves food, and there is a wide range of lunchboxes, plus a very professional kitchen. I've spent 5 wonderful days here. Sebastian is very friendly and knows a lot of wildlife and wildlife, the atmosphere is very quiet, and the environment here is so stunning. The breakfast is excellent.

Matembezi will take you to the best photo spots, see all the big five and much more. Low cost. Needs met in Tanzania's Serengeti and other national parks. Awesome! African nights are lions, elephants, hyenas and other sounds. The food is served with British colonial flare in both luxury lodges and secure tented camps. Tropical temperatures.

Overall an amazing experience! Nice location, very close to the park entrance, excellent bed, space, nice staff, and delicious cuisine. They called some friends and arranged a masti movie. The accommodation is large, comfy, and western, which is what I would have liked more.

We spent 2 nights in the camp in the northern part of the Serengeti. The staff was very attentive and did their best to make us comfortable, well fed and happy. We loved our stay there and it definitely was something different from the lodges.
