This was our final day on safari at Kirurumu Tented Camp. It's quiet and beautiful. The tent was comfortable and nicely decorated. There are full bathrooms with hot showers. The staff were attentive and friendly. The manager of the restaurant is particularly attentive. This place is definitely a 5 star experience.

We stayed here for the final night of our nineday safari. We had come to appreciate the opulent tent camps. The tent was adequate, and the view from there was stunning. The staff was friendly, but for some reason this location did not appeal to us as much as the other hotels we had stayed in. Perhaps it had to do with the fact that after spending more than two weeks in the country, we had climbed Kilimanjaro before going on safari, and we were ready to go home. The layout of the area resembles something we had never seen before. It was a total maze. Luckily, they have signs directing visitors to their tents, so finding them was simple. One must be careful on walking the grounds because it is in the middle of wildlife. It was adequate for one night, but I wouldnt have stayed any longer.

Stayed at this camp for two nights, with cape buffalo visiting day and night. At night, we were taken care of with hot water bottles and escorted to and from our tents to the main tent. The two 15-year-old boys and I played cards with Mali and Ben. These guys also assisted us to make fires in the traditional Massa style. The camp was extremely clean and comfortable, and the food was exceptional. The lovely surroundings were the icing on the cake!.

This was the most modest tent camp we stayed at on our journey, but very comfortable. We stayed here for two nights on a 5 week trip through Africa with oat. The tents were really comfortable and spacious. Zebras and elephants came to the camp both at night and during the day. There is a lovely eating tent with a bar and a seating area. The staff was very friendly and we really enjoyed our time here. Enjoy the talking shower here!.

I didn't fully enjoy our one night stay at this place during a day trip to Tanzania. The surroundings are lovely, and the rooms are charming. We enjoy Tanganian cuisine and have had excellent cuisine at all of our other lodges and camps, but the fish here was tough and malty. At supper, a handful of massas came to perform a dance and music show. It was enjoyable for about 5 minutes, but it lasted much longer, making it difficult to enjoy the kind of relaxing dinner we desired, simply listening to the sounds of the forest and conversing. Of course, we were asked to contribute funds to the massa, which was fine but felt obligatory. We were hesitant to order a bottle of wine but did not have much cash on hand, so we first confirmed with the manager that we could pay with credit cards. The credit card machine broke down the next morning when we paid our bill, and the manager finally accepted that they had been having problems for the past week. We informed her that we had inquired about this and only ordered the wine because she had assured us that credit cards would be fine, but she essentially shrugged and told us we would have to pay in cash. We had so little money and had to utilize our scarce cash. We offered to share a credit card number or impression with her so she would charge our card after her machine was working again,
