I stayed at this simple yet lovely hotel in the heart of Stone Town. Everything around, forodhani, the old town, the restaurants, and the sea that surrounds the island are easily accessible on foot. The customer service was excellent. adalah, hanim, amino, the night lady at reception forgot her name and the other cleaning staff, including the night shift staff, all made me feel at home. I was a little sceptical at first as I intended to stay at their sister bed and breakfast called Stone Town House, but a day later I warmed up to these amazing staff members, whom I felt I had known for years. They made me feel so at home that I chose not to move elsewhere. So I stayed for my 12 day stay. I enjoyed walking around the area and would definitely come back. Thank you, my. Masked and Audi proprietors, you have not only a truly pleasant place to stay, but amazing staff who add value to your establishments.

The location is in the middle of everything. In less than 10 minutes I could walk to restaurants, cafes, bars and shopping. The rooms are really nice and everything is new. The service is also very sweet. I cannot put a finger on anything that needs to be changed, so I am very happy and will definitely go back and recommend it to others.

For us, lala is a crossroads between a hotel and a hostel. There is nothing in common with what we call hostels in Europe which sometimes sound like a dirty place. Towels are provided, rooms are cleaned every day, and the staff takes care of you like you would in a hotel. Even taking breakfast at the closest restaurant may be reduced. The position is one of the best in the town of Stone. The staff is very friendly. Last but not least, the beds are very good.

The hostel location is not far from the centre and close to bars, shopping areas, bars, and restaurants. I stayed in this hostel for a long time. The hostel is simple, everything is new, and the service is good. Even breakfast gets 50 off.
