we got the room upstairs. not with bamboo which has lakeview. but it's just what we need. the room was spacious and we can still enjoy the lake by accessing the common spaces without intruding other guest's privacy. people in kanchanaburi is laid back and nice. we walked alot and greet the neighbors living on the houses by the sidewalk heading to the resort, and they would say hi and chit chat or glance a smile. the manager was also really nice and made nice drinks on a very hot day. the room was clean, the facilities work well, nothing to complain about. 7-eleven is within walking distance, near the infamous bridge, you can get food from grab food delivery service if you don't want to leave the room. though they also serve good food in the restaurant. They offer a massage in the hotel, but we went out and check the ones outside. rent a motorbike is a good way to go around. the service is available near the hotel, the manager knows the town by heart. we nailed the trip to the waterfall on a motorbike and had fun. thanks for having us!

Rustic tranquility! A great place to chill out, especially on the lawn watching the sun set over the jungle beyond the river. A short 10min walk to shops, 7-11, clothing & jewelry market and then the bridge to watch the spectacle of a slow moving deep throated growling train move between tourists taking snaps. This hotel has charm and atmosphere, we will return again.

The location is beautiful on the river. The bamboo huts were great, the place had a lovely feel to it. A short walk up onto the main road and you could flag down a tuk tuk to head to the bars and restaurants. Breakfast was basic and did not vary for the 4 days we were there, but for the price you coukd not complain.

Nous sommes restés seulement une nuit pour visiter le pont de la rivière Kwai et les chutes d'Erawan. La guesthouse est très bien placée (à 10 min du pont). Notre chambre était littéralement sur la rivière, donc vraiment agréable.

Wir hatten den river view Raum das Bambus Häuschen war sehr schön idyllisch und mit gutem Blick auf den Fluss des weiteren gab es schöne sitzmöglichkeiten auf unserer Terrasse und im Garten. Im Badezimmer war das nötigste vorhanden kein Komfort Hotel aber ein sehr schöner Aufenthalt. Das Frühstück hingegen war miserabel. Aber dafür hatte das Hotel eine gute Lage max. 10fußminuten zur River Kwai Bridge und gute ausgehmöglichkeiten alles in allem ein schönes Wochenende

Beautiful surroundings and only a 5 minute walk to the bridge over the river Kwai. This is a family run hotel and all the staff were very friendly and happy to help with any questions. The food in the restaurant is outstanding! We enjoyed every single meal we had there! Free breakfast included and they even have a little lounge area outside perfect for reading or working, we loved every minute of our stay here and you can dip into the river Kwai along the back of the hotel where the huts are. Rooms were clean and WiFi all around the hotel. We would highly recommend!

Eine sehr tolle Anlage direkt am River Kwai. Die Brücke ist in ca. 10 Minuten zu Fuß zu erreichen. Die Anlage ist ruhig und sehr gepflegt. Die Häuser sind ebenfalls super. Es war ein sehr schöner Aufenthalt. Alles wirklich TOP

Yövyimme majassa joen päällä kuusi yötä. Aivan ihana majoitus! Ainoa miinus oli veneiden aiheuttama keinutus, mutta öisin niitä ei kulkenut ollenkaan. Majamme terassilta saimme ihailla viidakkoa, jokea ja siltaa!
