A friendly welcome, bright airy room, nice swimming pool and great location opposite the beach. Free bicycle loan if you wanted them too. The owners were helpful in arranging a taxi for us to BanPhe Pier after our stay too.

I booked this hotel online while I was in Bangkok. My parents and I had the best time at this resort. The rooms are very clean and spacious. Around the resort, there is a lot of beautiful green and lush vegetation. My elderly parents had a hard time staying on the second floor of this resort. And the couple who own the resort were so kind that they gave us a large room on the mail floor. The owners were a wealth of information, and they helped us rent a taxi and gave us all the information about visiting the nearby island. The beach is literally across the road from this resort. My parents and I would breakfast and the resort and then cross the road, taking us sixty seconds to go the beach! The resort is quiet but very safe. There are many families around and people out at night. And the few restaurants near the resort are very busy. It was the quietest and quietest stay I have ever had in a resort and I had many trips. One night I was sick and had an allergic reaction and the owner drove me to the hospital. I cant find nicer people than the couple who own this resort. They are the kindest and most friendly people I have ever met. I was fine though after the hospital and the owner stayed with my parents and me until it was time for him to drive us home. The owners and this resort will always be remembered! I hope to visit rayon next year again and

On January 2020, our group of two adults and four and fiveyearolds stayed at Mama Villa rayon. To arrange transportation from Suvarnabhumi Airport to Mama, we contacted hotel employees in advance. The cost of the transport, which we paid for in cash via papal, was 200 Baht, and everything ran as expected. Although the beach just across the street from the hotel was fantastic, there was a little trash washed ashore each day, but locals cleaned it every day. We can fairly confident that a taxi from the airport would have been more expensive. Although I dont know the cost, I'm pretty sure that the elderly couple who I assume were the bosses were particularly helpful and welcoming. They went above and beyond to make sure our vacation went as planned. They very much expected that there was not so much garbage that would negatively effect our beachtime. Although there was some garbage washed up in the morning, the beach right across the street from the hotel was excellent. The pool was sufficiently big and sturdy. There were two swings in the yard, nothing spectacular, and kids loved them. I can say that the money was well spent considering the fact that a room from Mama Villa is so inexpensive. Even the lady management gave our kids a bag of the same cookies that she said were about hospitality and goodwill when we departed the hotel for a lengthy drive and sail to

The cleanliness here was very basic and they have a very good pool, which is so clean. They have a very good pool to enjoy. The first night we arrived, the dog kept barking in the middle of the night. In this place, the food and beach can be reached easily.

The swimming pool area is very good with 3 flights of stairs and nice asian bathroom with a hard bed. The owners are really kind and helpful.

Personalen toppenvänliga och mycket serviceminded. Rummet relativt enkelt men rent och i funktion. Hotellet ligger 25 meter från stranden i ett mycket lugnt område. Bra för barnfamiljer. Det fanns en bra pool på hotellet. Trädgården var möjligen lite eftersatt. Skulle behöva få en upprensning från grenar och löv.

Good location by great beach, a decent restaurant nearby. Very friendly and helpful guy at the reception who booked us transport to the pier for Koh Samet. The backyard pool is not deep enough, no sunbeds. The hardest and narrowest beds ever. No bed sheets, synthetic pillow cases. No cloth hangers at all. Nice balcony with sea view.

This is the third time I stay at mama villa. The cleanliness and friendly staff are consistent. The beach is a tree lined beach and the sea is clean. There are drink shops and restaurants in the area within walking distance. The environment is very safe and I would highly recommend it.

This is a nice hotel very close to the beach. It is not top class but we can recommend it. It is not expensive and the owners are extremely helpful and nice. The fine beach is just across the street. It is not so much traffic and the area is peaceful. There are also a big number of restaurants close. On the downside (for us) is that the whole area is dominated by western tourists. Not so very much local flavour. But if you are looking for a calm stay with a nice beach, this is the place to go.

Booked 2 nights here but only stayed one, not due to hotel just my friends contacted me to meet me somewhere else for my birthday. Room very clean, beach is quite and ok but as with most beaches in this area you cannot swim in the sea due to strong under currents and rip tides. Only downside was Air Con, room probably never went below 27/28 oC.
