Lovely guesthouse in a quiet upscale area of Portabello. 15 min walk to the sea and shops. 10 min bus to the Edinburgh Center 2,20 for the bus. We ubered it at night 9,80. We had a 1dbl/1sgl room 3 adults. Small but cozy. Free parking on site depending on bookings.

Easy to access, bustop right outside. It took 25 min to Edinburgh by bus. Our room (with private bathroom) was clean and nice. It was kind of thin walls though, we could all hear each other. We were only there for 3 nights, but we would recommend it!

Host friendly when we arrived. No parking - only had 3 cars on front. Could park our car for free across the road. Believe was a school car park. We entered the building from a side door to the new part of the building. On entrance was tea/coffee making facilities for all of the room (think 6 rooms?)Room new, modern and well decorated including bathroom. Room (20) not huge but adequate for 2 nights. Was at the front of the building so had to shut the window in the early hours because of traffic noise. Bus stop very close and easy to get into Edinburgh. I would book again.

Beautiful room! Right on the bus routes. Only downside is that when arriving you need to call the owner to check in, but being from Canada we didn't have the ability to make local calls and no one replied to us on Expedia chat either. But otherwise and amazing place to stay!

The owner of this place is amazing. I had an issue with the car rental company and he offered to help which he didn't have to but was greatly appreciated. The room was immaculate. The bathroom, which is important to me was very clean as well. The city is right around the corner. There's a bus that takes you directly there. The parking is a little tricky but it wasn't anything that was too bad. I really recommend this place to anyone who travels to Edinburgh. It's close enough to the city but not in the hectic part of the city

Very good location for the price, not too far from the city center. Close to Portobello Beach. Clean. Nice bigh bathroom with a bathtub, not in the room as stated in the booking, which I did not mind as I only stayed one night. Would come back.

Wir haben ein kleines Zimmer genommen. Es war für unsere Bedürfnisse völlig ausreichend. Die Gegend scheint sehr ruhig zu sein. Wir waren an einem Wochenende dort also können wir nicht sagen, ob die gegenüberliegende Schule laut ist. Das Zimmer war sauber, hatte einen großen Schrank und ein kleines Badezimmer mit Dusche. Super. Mit dem Bus kommt man recht schnell in die Innenstadt. Ich würde diese Unterkunft empfehlen. Thank you very much for having us!

Bien, l’hôte est disponible et réactif en cas de problème. Confortable, idéal pour des courts séjours. Bien que la salle de bain de notre chambre soit privative. Celle-ci n’est pas attenante à la chambre. Cela ne semble pas être le cas des autres chambres. Très proche des transports en commun de jour comme de nuit

Brand new rooms. Close to city center. Plenty of safe, free parking across the street at the school lot. Slight confusion with rooms at check in, but they figured it out. Rooms are small, but more than enough for a night or two. Shower was fantastic! There is a central older house, and the two wings with new rooms. There was construction going on, but not a big deal to us.

Everything was clean and tidy. We had a warm welcome by the host. The access to the city center is really easy by bus. The only little "problem" was that there was only one blanket and we are not used to it in Germany. But it seems to be normal here.
