The location is perfect. 5-10 min walk to the castle and royal mile. Tram and bus station just down and shops (for all purpose) just there. Its a 3rd floor apartment with no lift. But it was perfect. We could see on the west the castle and on the east the Scot monument from the windows (and all northside building of royal mile). Very spacious & clean apartment with all facilities (we are a family with 2 kids and we had cooked dinner everyday). Two bathrooms was bonus. Really there is nothing to complain. The only thing I would suggest is to put a door blocker to prevent the auto door closure (doors are heavy and kids cant push the door open).

This accommodation is excellent in every respect—its location, cleanliness, staff friendliness, and overall facilities are all outstanding. The only minor drawback is the absence of an elevator.

The view and the location alone made this the perfect place to stay! With that said, we were on the third floor which meant we had to lug our suitcases up nearly 70 stairs. Fortunately, we were up to the task, and knew that was the case going in. Because the location was so amazing, we popped right out to a pub after that journey. Some angel of a man (whom I am pretty sure was wearing a property jacket and works for the company that owns the space) happened to show up as we were checking out and he carried our heaviest bags all the way downstairs. I would absolutely stay here again! Albeit, with a lighter suitcase ;)

Great location. Right in the middle of where you would want to be. Bars,restaurants, shopping, all on your doorstep. Our apartment had a fantastic view of the castle. Apartment was ideal .

Das Apartment war richtig groß und komplett mit allem, was man für einen längeren Aufenthalt braucht. Das Check-in war absolut problemlos, alle Informationen haben wir im Voraus bekommen. Die Lage ist perfekt, mitten in der Stadt und dennoch relativ ruhig. Sehr empfehleswert.

This apartment building is in a fantastic location in New Town, just a short walk up The Mound to Lawnmarket and High Street. It is also located just a few blocks from Waverly Station, so it's a convenient location if traveling by UK rail. The neighborhood is busy and a bit noisy at night, but the accommodations are very comfortable. The kitchen is well-equipped and there are food markets nearby, in case the countless dining options within a 1/4 mile don't appeal. Note that there is no lift and all accommodations are up at least 2 flights of steps. Would definitely stay here again.
