The location was excellent. The house's double room where I stayed was great. From a kettle to toothpaste, the bed was comfy. This is made by Chris, the owner. Nothing is an issue for her, and she makes the very perfect poached eggs. Rochdale isn't a place I visit often, but if I go back, I'll stay here again as long as she's not fully booked! Most of the other guests who attended my class stayed at the premier inn, but I wholeheartedly recommend this and would stay here again any day. Congratulations again Chris.

I have stayed here several times. Chris is a complete diamond. Friendly and warm welcome. We stayed in the back bedroom with an assure. The bed was comfortable and we slept very well. A full English breakfast that was cooked when we came down was highly recommended. Its next door to Hollingworth Lake and has many places to eat. I would definitely stay here again.

I've recently stayed here for a few nights. The first positive is the location was ideal for our needs. The host was polite and accommodating, delivering me the beverage I requested. Free parking and wifi are also available. The negative is, I got a message 10 days earlier advising there would be no breakfast due to couid. I inquired if there would be a reduction in the room rate only to be told no because application take 13 off them and I could cancel if I wanted. That's not really a customer's problem. Despite the efforts, there was nowhere else in the region that had availability for our dates and we had no choice but to continue our booking as we were attending a wedding. Paying for a service that you arent getting is incorrect, and the owner should be aware. Even a tray with continental breakfast outside the bedroom door would have been adequate. Im sorry, but using couid is a justification when all pubs and restaurants are now open with no restrictions. We had breakfast around the corner at a neighborhood establishment. The bedroom was incredibly old and in desperate need of restoration. There was a light out in the bathroom and wallpaper peeling off the walls in the bathroom. A typical stay I am afraid and regret, but I would not recommend.

This room has a very comfortable bed, it's clean and is fresh, and they provide plenty of tea and coffee. They served a great breakfast, and they didn't have any requests. The owner of this place is Chris, she was extremely friendly and made us feel at home. She has a sense of humor, and we always laughed when we woke up. We will definitely visit again.
