This was my first trip to the major. The last time I found this to be the spot I wanted to stay on my way back. eadburghas church, one of my favorite peaceful places, is right next to it. The country path leading to the broadway and an equestrian school are both across the street. The Millhay Country House, which is surrounded by history, has a nice decor that highlights it's character. In the evening, the sheep baaing and two streams in the distance can be heard in the countryside, and the grounds are kept immaculately manicured. It's either on a country road or through the fields, it takes just a short distance to get to town. You may depart from Broadway at Snowshill Manor, climb up a hill behind the property to buckle, or ascend in front of the property to the Broadway Tower, where William Morris had hung out with his friends for longer periods. I slept in a room with a balcony looking out onto the back of the property. Since there is no bath in this room, it is likely a good tradeoff that you need a balcony. My only suggestion is to wish that the balcony was scrubbed so that I could have gone out barefoot on a summer's evening.

What a beautiful home and grounds, nothing too much trouble, delicious breakfast, plenty of parking, short walk into the Newway but nice to be away from the hustle and bustle and have time to chill out in peace after dinner. We'll definitely come back!

Our stay at Mill Hay House was wonderful. We had the most wonderful time in the Cotswolds. Christina attended to all of our needs. The owners were really kind and welcoming. The room was clean, well-equipped, and the bed was comfortable. This is the perfect place to go if we ever go back to the Cotswolds again.

Definitely worth the money. I had a wonderful stay at this place, the place was beautifully decorated and kept up, they had a great welcome and the good breakfast, which I highly recommend.

We recently came back to stay at Mill Hay Country House for two nights. We were treated very well and felt very welcome there. We have been to Mill Hay many times and I can honestly say it was one of the best stops.
