It was our second stay and ist was as good as we remembered: nice room, helpful host (thanks for the short walk with all the little waterfalls) and the best cooked breakfast we ever had 😋

A fabulous place to stay. We were greeted with a very welcoming pot of coffee after a long journey. We were told of things to do, places to eat but as we were going to a wedding the day after we couldn't do any walking. The room was clean and the bed so comfortable and lovely toiletries were in the bathroom. The breakfast the following morning was incredible, better than a lot of smart hotels we have stayed in. I would highly recommend Mill Lodge.

The location was perfect and our room was lovely and clean. Nice pubs and Londis within walking distance. Owners, Kel and Mel were very welcoming and knowledgeable of the area, giving directions to walks along the canal and the history of the local area. The cooked breakfast was outstanding!

Beautiful location. Hosts were gracious and shared helpful information about local attractions as well as fascinating perspective on local culture, language and history which was much appreciated by these first time visitors from the USA.

We have stayed in many b&b over the years, some very good and some a bit dire. Mill Lodge surpasses anywhere that we have stayed in before. Kelvin is an excellent and enthusiastic host. We had quite a few chats and put the world to rights!! Kelvin is also an excellent chef and we have never had such tasty cooked breakfasts. We are more than happy to recommend Mill Lodge and we shall return in the future, I'm sure.

From the moment we arrived we were welcomed into the B&B and offered refreshment after a long journey. The rooms were immaculate and the breakfast choices were superb. Best cooked breakfast I have had in a long time. The host was very knowledgeable about the area and after we had attended a wedding ensured there was fresh milk for us to make a drink when we got back late in the evening. Thoroughly recommend. Beautiful walks just a short stroll from the door.
