They automatically shut quite forcefully so please show this to all guests especially younger children on arrival. Please do not use the log burner in summer months. Please do not attempt to open the rear door on first floor. This is locked for guest safety. The flat roof outside is not currently a balcony area. Please be mindful of neighbours and local residents nearby. No loud parties after 9pm. The surface of the small balcony from the lounge can get hot in very sunny weather so be careful in bare feet. There is a very large hot water tank however as it is heated via an air source heat pump be aware that there is ultimately a limit to instant hot water supply so we recommend staggering shower times for large groups. The supply is replenished after a short time. The house is heated as a whole to a comfortable 21 degrees. This connot be adjusted internally or on a room by room basis. In summer the house may be hotter than this so please open windows where needed to cool down. For some periods when we are not abroad for work we will be staying in the small dwelling further up the lane behind the house. This a completely private area with a separate entrance and not visible from the main house.
