Check-in between 12:30 AM and 03:00 PM will be subject to an additional charge of GBP 20.Guests arriving outside the mentioned check-in hours are requested to contact the property directly prior to arrival so alternative arrangements can be made.The property accepts bookings only from non-local guests. Guests whose residence is within the same city as the property will not be allowed to check in unless authorized by Ocean Apartments.Debit or credit card pre-authorization of GBP 250 per booking will be made for 1 night stay bookings for check-in on Friday, Saturday or Sunday. Other than these days, an amount of GBP 100 per booking will be pre-authorized upon check-in.When booking for 5 or more guests, Ocean Apartments may ask the nature of the stay to discourage any party groups.
Effective October 1, 2025, a 5% Visitor Levy will apply to all bookings for stays on or after July 24, 2026. The Visitor Levy is payable directly to the property at check-in and applies only to the first five days of the stay. The amount for the Visitor Levy may differ from the amount displayed at the time of booking.
Reception is open between 09:00 AM to 05:00 PM, Monday to Sunday.An emergency contact number is available for urgent matters outside of these hours.Ocean Apartments operates on a self-check-in basis.Guests are required to: Submit a valid form of photo identification via email.Complete a £100 security deposit pre-authorisation per apartment using the link. Please note, this is a virtual hold; the amount will be frozen on your account but not charged.Guests must contact the management team at least 24 hours prior to arrival to arrange the self-check-in process.Check-in instructions will only be issued once all requirements have been fulfilled.**Key Collection and Self-Check-In Process**Keys must be collected from the left side of the Ocean Apartments reception by the black keysafe boxes. This is located on the ground floor of Block C at 2 Western Harbour Midway, Edinburgh, EH6 6PN.Smoking on-site is strictly prohibited and will incur an additional charge of £200.Housekeeping: Please be aware that daily housekeeping is not provided. A weekly cleaning service is available for stays of 7 nights or longer.
