For a family event, we stayed in Port Ly. Since we were unable to arrive by 2 p. M., we spent our first night at Deer Hog Creek. This was very pricey, but it was well worth it. Our luggage was labeled and moved for us. We had a safari at 10:00 and again at 2:00 on the way to the Giraffe Lodge, we were happy we did both because the animals behaved differently. Both were fascinating. After our 2. 00 excursion, we had lunch at the base camp cafe, which we were glad we did because there was nothing to eat other than crisps and nuts before supper at 6.30. Other people had picnic hampers and cool boxes to have lunch in their tents. You only receive two small bottles of water in your tent, one sparkling one, but the tent was stunning. The bed and the balcony was comfy. Everything was clean. Lots of charging outlets. When we returned after our dinner, the giraffes returned to close their branches. Other animals also came right up to the viewing area. For the threecourse meal, there is a restaurant that offers a free glass of prosecco at 4 oclock. The girls who served us were really attentive and did a great job My only comment is that there is no pricing list, so they constantly come around, topping drinks up and offering more. You

My son and I stayed at the Giraffe Lodge in Port Lyme for one night, and all we can say is WOW. The entire experience was fantastic, and the staff did everything in their power to help. Dinner and breakfast were excellent, and there were so many animals on safari, including rhinos and zebras. The closing tent was magical, and the mattresses were incredibly comfortable. Putting dressing gowns and slippers in the rooms, as well as binoculars, was a nice touch. The views across the countryside of the muddy River to the sea with the animals were spectacular. Our tent and others overlooked the watering hole. Thank you, Port Ly. It was a relaxed vip experience.

Our two nights here were absolutely unforgettable. For my birthday, my partner surprised me with this excursion, and I would wholeheartedly suggest it for couples. You meet your hosts when you arrive, and they deliver your luggage up to the lodge while you are being taken on the safari. The trip was approximately 45 minutes and included viewing of a variety of animals from all over the world. You were given welcome drinks like prosecco or juice when you got to the Giraffe Lodge, where you were allowed to stand on the balcony and watch all the animals, which was a truly wonderful experience. The rangers were fantastic and brought the Giraffes right up to the balcony, which was an excellent experience. Furthermore, a ranger came to the tent to conduct a Qa. You could go to your tent once youre done, as the hosts had already dropped your baggage off for you. Our tent was one of two in the back row with the communal shower room. The separate shower room wasnt a problem at all, as there were two, so one for each room. As you could unwind on your own balcony, the tent was really cozy, and you were given a table, slippers, blankets, and two chairs. The mattress was extremely cozy, although we were very lucky because there was a rhino in the field right behind us! Although it was a buffet, a chef came down to grill

We stayed at a giraffe lodge and thought it was fantastic. We had decent weather, which I think helps, but unlike a previous reviewer, we were prepared for the cold and understood that giraffes are warm weather animals. We saw not only giraffes, but also a variety of other animals including ostriches, zebras, rhinoceros, and plenty of different antelopes and deer. It's magical to be able to sit on your own balcony with a great glass of something and watch giraffes disappear, sitting on your balcony while watching them gone is a magical experience. You also have a very nice view directly across to the coast and down the coast as far as dungeness. The food was a little quirky, African inspired, but it was very tasty and a good breakfast. Drinks, though, are really expensive. Two glasses of unknown pinot origin were 17. That aside, we loved the whole experience and strongly suggest it. When I booked it, I thought it was a bit pricey, but now I think it's really good value for what you get.

This was an unforgettable experience unlike any other. My partner and I went on a birthday celebration, and we both had a fantastic time. I recommend booking in the warmer months, even though you can envision that it would be cold in the winter and you shouldn't wait for the dark months. The safari trip to the lodge and back to the park the following day was excellent and informative. The actual lodge itself was gorgeously designed, with fairy lights and the necessary amenities. We were staying at a lion lodge, which was directly in front of a tiny pond, and the view was incredible. The vast panoramas all around made us feel like we were in Africa at times. During our visit, we encountered giraffes, zebras, antelope, and other mammals. The sound of zebras walking past our lodge, as well as the sunrise of the animals rising, was fascinating. If you're considering a reservation, take it without a doubt. A fantastic experience and a fantastic place to visit. Although more expensive lodges, we looked at the other lodges the park offers, they do not have the same panorama or front row

It was a good experience and cam clos to the real thing abroad. We are a bit spoilt having stayed in some superb lodges in South Africa and Botswana but the "safari" experience staying in the Aspinall Foundation Port Lympne parki was reasonably close to what you would find in Africa. Very rewarding to hear how all animals in captivity are born and bred in this enviroment with none being brought in from the wild. Our "glamping" was OK although the tents flap around very noisily all night in the fairly stong winds we experienced during our stay. Dinner was very enjoyable. Served buffet style but the steak was well cooked. On the whole an enjoyable overnight stay and an unusual experience in the UK. We took some friends who are full of praise about the trip.
