Room was lovely, just right size for me and Coco. Yvonne, the owner of the guest house was very nice, made us feel very welcome, leant me a dog pram so i could take my dog out, was far to hot for her! Very nice lady, Her son Joe nice guy and made the absolute best breakfast! Amazing, even Coco enjoyed a sausage at breakfast time! Was the best by far, thanks guys! don't drive but was only 7-10 mins walk to beach and shops so was very handy for us, had a lovely stay would highly recommed and will definately be visiting again! Thank you so much again Yvonne for a lovely stay.

Nothing bad at all to say about this place, from check in where the owner showed me the room and explained how to operate the remote control lighting and tv, also explained how operate front door. Very helpful and extremely grateful of our custom. Room was small but big enough for a night or so, bed/pillows were excellent and very clean, don’t think you need anymore. Would definitely stay at runway on my next visit to Blackpool.

Stayed for 1 night with my hubby at the Runway, this hotel is a little gem. The location couldn't be any better, near to the shopping areas,the theatres, and the pubs and clubs.This mornings breakfast was one of the nicest ive ever had,the food quality was fab. Yvonne was the lady who greeted us,she was a lovely lady and couldn't do enough for us.The hotel was very clean and smelt lovely when we walked in.We will definitely return 😊💝

Yvonne was very friendly and greeted us with a cup of tea each. Yvonne explained everything about the guest house thoroughly. The room was nice and clean and comfortable. The breakfasts each morning were amazing.

We had a brilliant two nights. Room was clean and spotless. To be sincere and truthful, maybe a little paint touching up, a bit of wallpaper coming away from wall, but did not spoil our stay. Its not the Hilton, but service was better. Comfortable bed, loads of toiletries, teat, coffee, biscuits, etc. Yvonne & her son made us very very welcome and we will be back.

Well from the minute we walked in we felt like family we was given a good introduction to a safety of the building and everything else which was absolutely fabulous. The room itself was amazing love and ice space an amazing bath would definitely either recommend the lady that runs it is really friendly really outgoing and we will definitely be back 100% fabulous location for the Winter Gardens.

Everything you could want and the friendliest host! Beautiful room with a very comfy bed, extremely spacious for Blackpool. The location is so convenient for all the attractions, whilst being quiet at night. Unusually for Blackpool, excellent Wi-Fi and TV reception too. Overall the best place we've stayed in Blackpool and fantastic value, we'll definitely come back.

Great room and great location very close to all attractions and amenities. Great club straight across the rd so not too far to stumble home after one too many 😅.Bnd b was really clean and Yvonne the owner was really friendly and nothing was too much trouble. If you needed any extras in room ie water or loo roll you just had to ask and it was provided. I even left one of my shoes which was kindly posted out to me by Yvonne great customer service will deffo return

We have just returned from a 2 night stay. Yvonne was amazing showed us round. Provided information about the area and places to go. Breakfast is available at an extra cost and is absolutely delicious. Quality ingredients and plentiful. Bed was very comfortable and so quiet at night . Would definitely stay again.

Wonderful warm welcoming owner. The room was compact but clean and comfortable, plenty of hot water for the shower. Good selection of beverage minis and a nice touch with small biscuit packs and bottled water. Excellent breakfast, freshly cooked and at a very good price. An excellent choice for a couple of night's stay.

Friendly and very helpful host. Accommodated my dietary requirements very well. The optional breakfast is tasty and substantial, which is a big hit with me, and definitely worth paying the extra for. Nice new flooring and carpets throughout. My room was clean but could use an electric socket near the bed (I have advised host on this). Bedside lamps were battery only and ran out of power when I went out for a long evening. This might be only an issue in one room however. Runway is very handy for the centre of town and has a couple of shops within easy walking distance. Parking was OK when I went but might be harder during peak season. Wifi works in bedrooms which is definitely better than most B&Bs in the area. The central heating doesn't work in all rooms (apparently a new pump is needed), but the host did provide a plug-in electric heater which was just about sufficient. Re-decoration is ongoing but the progress seems to be slow, hopefully this will be completed soon as well. The floors have been done throughout and do look nice. The walls, woodwork and banister were still to be done. Host inherited an outdated building and has already invested substantially in the renovations, this is obvious. There is still more to be done though, which with relatively little extra cost will make a big difference. I would be happy to stay again here, and hopefully it will be even nicer once the improvements I mentioned have been done. Overall I can recommend very highly.

Still a work in progress but spotlessly clean. We were given a warm welcome with parking right outside the hotel for just £5. Didnt have breakfast. Great location and a lovely guest house that we will definitely use again

When we arrived we were greeted by a young man after ringing the doorbell, he took us through to the bar lounge, and read us a load of rules about the place, then he asked us if we used deodorant which a strange thing to ask then said don't spray in the bedroom because of the smoke alarm. The room we were given was supposed to have been a double more like a single with a double bed in it. When you opened the door to the room it banged on the bed it's that tiny, there was no storage had to put case on the floor at the end of the bed then climb over the bed as you could walk past it. You couldn't even sit anywhere apart from on the bed, we couldn't even walk past each other around the bed. The room was filthy looked like it hadn't been cleaned in months dust everywhere paint peeling off hairs in the shower plug marks on the bath mat, there was grime everywhere in the tiny bathroom, the toilet you had to sit on sideways as it's that close to the basin, the view out the window was of a dirty back yard and the windowsill paint coming off it. We had planned to have breakfast but wasn't even asked if we wanted it. Only saw the owner once that was the following morning she didn't even introduce herself or asked if everything was ok with the room. We booked this place because of the reviews but it looked a completely different place to what we had read about, so overall would we stay again DEFINITELY NOT, not value for money with having to pay for carpark as well. Book elsewhere AVOID
