The place was so beautifully well kept. My husband and I were on our honeymoon and we were traveling through England. This place was conveniently located near the middle of the city and about a 10 minute walk to the train station, however, it was not noisy. It was like our own little apartment away from home. I would definitely recommend this place if you’re wanting to vacation to York! We will be back!

The apartment was excellent value for money. A little tired, but clean and in a great spot. We had no interaction with the owner. It was all managed via expedia. The parking at the property was expensive.

Straight forward and easy check in process. codes for lock boxes sent day before check in. Apartment was very clean and well equipped, everything we needed for a couple of nights.The location is excellent for walking in to York either along the road or along the river. We arrived slightly early and the attached carpark was nearly empty. If we had arrived later, it would have been only a short walk from the nearby Margate carpark.Which always had spaces during our stay and would have been nearly the same price.

Originally I booked 3 nights, for the first time in about 7 years, and everything was wonderful, including the welcome from the owner, Elizabeth, and Sabo, who are very kind and helpful. Everything is spotless clean, and the breakfast is good. The location is strategic, about a 10- to 15 minute walk from the city center. Maybe I will return.

Hotel rooms are not clean as they have so many insects on the mattresses and pillows. The owner is very unfriendly. Certainly, the stay was too expensive.

We have been to this place several times. The house looks old, but amazingly well-furnished. There's clean and tidy place with lovely linens. Breakfast was delicious and abundant. Elizabeth and Spiro were the perfect hosts, welcoming and pleasant. They will go out of their way to ensure that you have a wonderful stay. I can't wait to come back to this place.

We have been staying here for a few days and have chosen a great location. Its a short walk through the park to the city centre. Parking outside is available on request. The owners are a really nice couple, very helpful and wonderful cooks! Spires elizabeth. Breakfast was excellent, lots to eat and very filling. Our room was very comfortable and clean. We would book here again.
