My father and I spent one night here while on a golf trip. The room was roomy and had everything you could possibly need for a night. The bed was also pleasant, a little loud later in the night due to a karaoke singer downstairs we went to bed early and it was a weekend, so it may not happen during the week, but it could still be heard upstairs as well as other drinkers outside the main entrance to the pub. That was the sole issue we had, but we were able to get over that and had a great time. The food was outstanding, with plenty to fill you at reasonable prices, and the breakfast was great again, and it couldn't have been better. If in the area, I would return.

Having visited the castle inn for lunch around 56 times since we were together, I simply cannot emphasize how fantastic the service, friendly environment, and, most importantly, delicious food are at this location. On the journey back to Edinburgh, we also frequently visit the castle inn while going on a weekend getaway. In terms of pleasant memories, I have always recalled the years I spent working in a comparable location close to south Queensferry. We brought some acquaintances with us on our last trip, and we have been on a mission to bring other people to visit. Next time you visit the castle inn, be sure to stop by.

Excellent food service from the extremely pleasant staff. We came in and it was not a problem to have a few drinks in the beer garden before having our own candlelit table ready when we needed it.

My mother and I enjoyed lunch at the Castle inn, and it did not disappoint. From the moment we arrived, the service was outstanding, friendly, and professional, and the atmosphere was fantastic. The country pub was busy, with a welcoming, warm atmosphere, and the staff was unfavorable. You are frequently pressured to eat and drink quickly so that the tables may be turned around, which is not the case here. It was a lovely, tranquil lunch, the food was wonderful, and the options for small and large portions were fantastic because we werent forced into big portions due to a health issue. I want to make a special mention of the entire front desk employees and the proprietor, who was a hands owner, whom you rarely see. We will return to this place because the specials we had and the triple cooked chips were amazing! Also thanks to the chef and his team for the excellent piping hot food!.
