Perfect stop for a Uni Open Day at Sutton Bonington! Very comfortable room, and beds. Very friendly and helpful staff (who found me a hairdryer which I had forgotten) It's not a modern Travelodge type of room, but was absolutely perfect for us. Numerous takeaways available around the corner. We would def stay here again!

I went in for a pint on a calm Saturday afternoon and had a very pleasant time chatting to the landlord and learning about the history of the village and how he ended up running the pub. So friendly that I will come back this evening.

The hotel has a good selection of reasonably priced beer, and helpful staff, and it has been tastefully furnished with two large televisions that are often used to show the sport, pool table and dart area and electronic scoreboard. It's definitely worth visiting if you're in the area!.

It's time to come home. Great bar, fantastic land lady, if you enjoy water, request free 3 jaegerbombs from Ben and Mike. Great atmosphere, good gin selection, and friendly staff. Great local pub that is quite welcoming to visitors from outside. Enjoy.

I stayed here last night, the happy hour 5 til 7 was a nice little surprise. The bar has a lot of character and the landlord is a very friendly guy. He told me how he came to run the place and told me about all the small features and history of the building. I would recommend this place.

Nice clean room, good shower and beds. It's such good value and basic which is all I needed as was at the BTCC at Donginton Park all day. Nice selection of beers in the bar and friendly staff. This is my second time using this hotel and will use again in the future.
