Great accommodation a short walk from the train station and town centre in Preston. It had a homely feel and felt private, with a good level of cleanliness. It was easy to contact the host, who clearly cared about us having a good stay. Would return!

Very comfortable and well equipped apartment, served our purpose very well. Short walk from the station for one of us and easy parking for the other who drove.

We stayed over Christmas for three nights. The property was clean and there was even a small Christmas tree which was a nice touch. The bed could have been comfier and the shower was very temperamental but other than that it was a great stay - thank you!

No reception, access via keysafe code provide by owner. Everything provided in room that I needed. Comfy and clean. Local takeaway, shops, train station and town literally a few minutes walk away. Ideal for my needs.

Apartment room was good, needed a little more finesse & finishing but reasonable. There were some niggles such as rusty toilet roll holder, shower door that doesn't properly shut, no shelf in the shower room. The main issue however was the entrance & stairs which were very dirty.

The building is not one. The exact location which Google map indicates might be not exactly your room

For the price and location cant go wrong really, the pics were accurate, and it waS cleaN. The heaters were difficult to operate so probably needs a plug un heater over the winter months. Other than that it was spot on .

I like that the property was in walking distance from the train station and downtown. It was nice to have a fridge, microwave, etc. The walls are a bit thin so it can be a bit noisy when people come in and out.

Good overall experience, good condition property. not too far away from all amenities. wouldnt bring my kids in future as there was a strong smell of cannabis coming from ground floor guest area. In addition slight dampness on top floor but overall experience was good. The property dod what we wanted it to do.

Firstly parking is a big issue. You have public on street parking on side streets buy it is restricted to 2 hours no return within 2 hours but on the up side i found 3 streets (one either side of the accommodation and one opposite) so changing every 2 hours is not so bad. You do have the fishergate shopping center carpark which is £8 for 24hours and thats at the train station a 4/5 min walk up the hill. The hallways and stairs area have stained carpets and do not look clean in any way. Washing bags of dirty sheets were left in the downstairs hallway for the whole of the week i was there. The shower in room 5 was electric but the temperature switch wouldnt work. I either got freezing cold or scolding hot water. It was very difficulty to have a shower like this and ened up taking more than 30 minutes just to wash my hair and body. The bathroom door has windows and does not stay closed. The shower door wont stay shut inless you put a full big bottle of shampoo infront of it. Its very hard to wipe when you go to the loo as the room is so small you have a radiator bassically touching your knees when your sat down (and no im not a 6ft 7in man im about 5'9 5'10. Bassically you get more space in a brittany ferrys cabin bathroom than in the apartments bathroom. The door handle on the outside of the door came off in my hand. The shower drain was blocked up with old hair. The sink plug had to be taken iut cos it wouldnt drain away. Fridge was great. Windows opened. Lost of thin stairs.

The location is amazing, communication was top notch. Sadly, our room was not clean on arrival. In various places. The most notable overall issue was the matress. The absolute most uncomfortable matress I have ever stayed on. We almost didn't stay our last night as we were both so sore and tired of being miserable.

Travelled to The Open. Only stayed one night out of two as it was basically student accommodation. The bed sheets were clean as were the two bedrooms but there was no sitting room and it looked nothing like the pictures. The outside at the front was messy. On a positive note it was near the town centre and train station.

I took this long to write this review because as I think about this stay, I am stressed. The condition of the place was terrible, the entrance hall was dirty, the bed sheets was stained (luckily I had a blanket to use) , the pillows needed to be disposed of - fully stained once the covers are removed. I check pillows as my husband suffers from allergies. Literally you could write in the dust on the furniture (someone dusted just the front 3 inches on the top of the furniture). The carpet was literally soaked with dirt, had to keep our shoe on for the few hours we endured in the place, luckily our child had a small dorm room at UCLAN and we stayed there into the night. I took some pictures for evidence. Even the kettle for some hot water needed descaling. It was terrible. The bathroom was fair but still had shivers In using it because of overall conditions. The room was extremely hot. I would say, put as much effort in cleaning as in communicating, got so much contact felt like stalking. This listing should be removed until improvements are made and verified.
