The property was unfortunately not as expected based on the listing and price point. There was a noticeable odor coming from the wood floors and throughout the interior, which made the stay uncomfortable. The master bathroom also had peeling paint and appeared to need maintenance and updating. The driveway and entrance could also use some attention. There was even a discarded nail clipper right at the entrance upon arrival, which did not give a great first impression. Overall, the property did not have the feel or quality we were expecting. The experience was disappointing enough that I chose to check out two days early, despite being unable to receive a refund. Unfortunately, it felt like money wasted. The surroundings and overall condition of the property felt more like being in a trailer park than the vacation rental experience we anticipated. I hope the owner takes this feedback seriously and addresses these issues, as the property has potential but needs significant attention and upkeep.
