It's a fantastic getaway. It has a very large deck overlooking the river, and I love the sound of the river. Rick, the manager, is very helpful and accommodating. It may not qualify as a 4 star place to stay for some people, but it is perfect for me. The most relaxing place I've ever stayed. Lake Vallecito is close by, and it's a beautiful lake. Nice place.

It was a pleasure to stay here. We plan to visit Telluric, Silverton, And Mesa Verde. The accommodation was spacious and clean and I really enjoyed the fireplace. The owner was kind and helpful. The food was excellent in the local restaurants, particularly the saloon across the street and the diner next door. We shall be back and recommend staying here.

We had a fantastic time at this cabin! We stayed in the polar bear cabin with 3 comfortable queen beds. The cabin was very clean and comfortable. The kitchen was well-stocked with pans, silverware and dishes. I recommend packing paper plates and cups if washing dishes is a problem there is no dishwasher. The front deck had a beautiful view of the trees and we saw deer both nights. The cabins are close together which might be a problem if they are full, but there were only a few other guests while we were there and the area was very quiet. The cabin owner was very friendly and personal. Be sure you bring all groceries including charcoal because the general store closes early. Would love to return! Beautiful area and comfortable cabin to stay in!.

I stayed at the Panda cabin with my adult son. Overall great and hope to come back again. I called all around the lake looking for a place to stay and now that I am here and drove all over the lake, I'm very glad we found this spot. The cabin only has two? Threeprong outlets and fairly weak wifi.
