We stayed here for a week in an upper unit with an ocean view.(2204) It was so lovely to wake up and sit on the porch with such a nice view. Everything was easy from check in to check out. The pool was nice for an afternoon swim. It was very windy while we were there so that accounted for the comfortability in the space without air conditioning. Plus the fans in each room. The kitchen had a coffee maker, blender and lots of containers for our leftover foods when cooking at home. All in all I would stay here again.

After reading some previous renters stories, our family was concerned for maintenance and noise issues. As well as condo cleanliness, and other issues. We contacted staff who were great with communication regarding our concerns. They answered all our questions. We arrived and everything that was stated on our booking page more than met our expectations. Our ocean view condo was amazing and we made a trip of a lifetime! We will definitely rebook in the future, mahalo!

Interior was fine except beds were hard and not very comfortable. We couldn’t have chosen a better location such Makahuena Resort; Unit 2306 had the best ocean view with all its amenities. It had everything that we wanted and is exactly as described! I highly recommend this place! Makahuena is my home 😊

Our unit overlooked the pool but could see the ocean, too. It was a little dated but very comfortable. I think this unit might be too hot in the summer as it didnt have AC. But cracking the front door and opening the windows created a lot of cross ventilation and was very comfortable. The location was great, pool and Jacuzzi, too. I would stay here again.

Great property almost directly on the Pacific. Great location in Poi'pu with easy access the all parts of the island. A few maintenance items needed to be attended to on the inside but they did not detract from the beauty of the location. Excellent natural ventilation and is cool at night so you really don't need air conditioning. Good access to multiple great restaurants. Would recommend to anyone and will rent again on next trip to Kauai.

This condo could easily become my home away from home. It was incredibly comfortable for the entire family. I believe it was advertised as a 2 bath yet has 3. The beds were comfortable and in good condition. There is no AC but there are plenty of fans . It can get a bit warm upstairs but there certainly is no reason to complain as your in a humid tropical climate. It comes with the territory. The condo is supplied with everything you may need when it came to going to the beach. The kitchen is well equipped as well. This is an ocean view condo. Almost ocean front but not quite. You overlook the pool with a view to the right of the ocean. Don't be mislead. The ocean is literally one building away. The view is fantastic. We truly enjoyed every minute of our stay. This place was beautiful.

Announcement

A check-out cleaning fee which varies in price according to the size of the accommodation is charged for all stays. This fee includes both check-out cleaning service and complimentary Accidental Damage Protection in lieu of a refundable damage deposit. The Accidental Damage Protection covers unintentional damage to the rental unit interior occurring during your stay up to USD 1,500, provided any damage is disclosed to management prior to check-out. Any damage exceeding USD 1,500 and any damage considered intentional will be charged back to the credit card on file.
A compulsory check-out cleaning fee will be collected at the property.
