Even if the place is large, it has a very small private feel to it. Beautiful vegetation surrounds all villas, making them not really visible. We were on the ground floor right on the golf course with a large view. Pool and workout areas were just minutes away. We found a local fish market and used the grill area next to the pool. 6 or 8 immaculate grills are available for your use. A quick walk to kings court for shopping.

For our anniversary, we made a two-week island reservation through Costco. We stayed in Fairwayway Villas during our trip. After spending the first week in a hotel room living out of a suitcase, it was nice to split up a little and have a wardrobe and dresser. Also a big plus is having a washer and dryer to use which allowed us to pack light. The apartment was tidy and cozy. We were in unit je, which is a ground floor unit. If I ever go there again, I might want a condo on the upper floor. The persons above us were walking around around every morning at about 6 or 630 am and must have been wearing hard-sell shoes. Sounded like they were walking around their apartment. This wasn't a big deal for us but I noticed something. The first night there was a centipede on the kitchen floor, but my research had convinced me for that so I got rid of it, and it wasn't a big deal. There was plenty of pillows and bath towels, as was the grill area. We were able to golf on that course and we enjoyed it. It was nice to be close to both the Queens and Kings shops because we only had a week to explore the vast island. We were told that opening the windows and door would let in a pleasant breeze and that we didn't need the air

We booked this apartment through Costco Travel, which came with the standard size car from Costco. It was a two-bedroom bathroom with views of the golf course and pool. It did not disappoint. It was very spacious, clean, close to shopping and was on the west side of the big island of Hawaii, so we had almost no rain. We would definitely stay there again and book through Costco Travel.

I don't agree with this review. Well-kept grounds are the pros. This is an excellent area, close to shops, restaurants, and the beach. Nice kitchen has recently been renovated in the last decade but arguably the condo is outdated and in poor shape overall. We rented a ground-floor apartment with soiled carpet in the second bedroom, and the paint in the interior was quite old. There are no cushions for outdoor metal chairs either. Rusted vents and ac unit outside are loud and obviously rusty, no basic provisions. Just looking for some salt and pepper. Not a big deal, but would have been nice. Summary. We've stayed here before, and that place was much nicer. So I believe it really depends on the particular owner of the unit you get and the condition in which they keep their condominium. Ours wasn't good.
