Wonderful place to stay! Our room was very large with a table/chairs, sitting area, wood burning stove, and king bed (which was very comfy). It also had a private balcony off the room! Front desk staff was great, the restaurant had delicious food and drink (it was nice eating on the back deck overlooking the mountains), and there was a nice walking trial down to the river. If guests didn't feel like walking back up the big hill they could call the front desk and have the hotel van come and get them. This was also the only hotel we stayed at in Alaska that had recycling bins around the main building and in the rooms. We also enjoyed the jigsaw puzzle in the lobby and spent a few hours working on it.

Wonderful room and great wood stove. Nice hiking trail. Great food and bar. NO POOL OR SAUNA. Would have been lovely to have this in a place we spend the day hiking

When we first booked, did not realize it was tied to cruise line and their ‘land tours’. This was the 3rd one we stayed at on our trip. Rooms were nice and very large. Very cool that they have wood burning fire places and supply wood. Only drawback is no fridges. Resort seemed to have lots of walking paths and had outside games and nice patio overlooking river. Our family enjoys walking - was quite a hill climb to get to our room.

It was so peaceful and had beautiful grounds. Many wildflowers and several paths on the property were just gorgeous. There is fishing and rafting nearby. The scenery is stunning.

Hands down favorite lodge to stay at. Cabins are very nice with a wood burning stove (plenty of wood provided), a porch, and amazing views of the mountain. Restaurant and bar on-site have great food. Path down to the Kenai River. Not far from Kenai National Wildlife Refuge for bear viewing and hiking trails. This was my second stay and it will be an annual trip from Fairbanks for me.
