Very comfortable apartment with full kitchen washer and dryer. We stayed 5 nights and hosted a small gathering for the holidays. Will definitely be coming back! Pool is lovely, it’s heated and a nice size spa. Did not use workout room but looked well equipped. It is near the train tracks but building is very new with great construction so barely heard the train whistle.

Our stay was absolutely amazing!! This hotel is one of the most beautiful properties I have ever visited. The pool and courtyard are amazing from its multiple firetables, grill/pizza ovens to its hottub. This is by far the nicest cleanest hotel in Palo Alto. Did i forget to mention the complimentary coffee/latte machine that uses Philz coffee beans. This property also comes equipt with a golf simulator, dog wash room and a full gym. I will be back anytime I visit the area. I would recommend to everyone!!!

It was a beautiful room very clean exactly as described. The only issue was the check out; checkout was stated to be at 11:00 am but while I was out around 9:00 am my brother said that workers were banging on the door to the room and that they opened the door themselves to tell him it was time to leave. We basically got kicked out 2 hours early with no choice.

This was my second stay at the Mint House. While I still find it clean and conveniently located, some of the amenities are showing their age. For example, the bathroom tray was already cracked, which made me uncomfortable, so I tucked it under the sink. The location is practical, though the train can be quite Loud. This time I requested a room not facing the tracks, but discovered construction right above my unit. Waking up to the sound of drilling at 8am was unpleasant, thankfully it only lasted one morning, otherwise it would be unbearable.

The hotel is fairly new, clean, and very conveniently located. The only downside is that it can be a bit loud if your room is next to the train tracks. During my first two nights, I was woken up in the middle of the night by trains honking as they passed by, though I eventually got used to it. Despite that, I would still choose to stay here again, but I’d recommend requesting a room as far from the train tracks as possible for a better night’s sleep.

Check in was subpar. Directions to check in were wonky and not clear. Access to building was confusing. Only one person could access room with code through the phone. There was a key card though. The touch pad to enter room did not work. Room was clean. We were not bothered by the train across the street

Apartment is facing the railroad / Caltrain station which makes it impossible to get any sleep as the it’s so incredibly loud even with the provided earplugs.

I cannot fault the property itself. It’s gorgeous and immaculate, lots of attention to detail and the co workspace and communal coffee machine was a great hit. The company own a handful of flats within this big complex. Unfortunately these flats are on the side right by the cal train. I realised the property was near a trainline but I did not expect the noise caused by the horning for the train crossing - located right outside. The horn vibrates through the building and is constantly and excruciatingly loud. The trains run all through the night, so my sleep was completely broken. I had travelled 24 hours from the UK so my few nights deprived of sleep were torturous. The hotel provide rubber ear plugs which hurt my ears, as well as a white noise machine -but it did not conceal the noise outside. I got some soft ear plugs from target and put my laptop on extra loud playing Netflix (unfortunately no tv in room) and got an “okay” sleep on the final nights but this was far from ideal. Yes the location, facilities and apartment were great but only if you can tolerate very loud noise. Parking is pricey but we were out most days and made the most of street parking which is free in the evenings. I just wish the company explained the train noise on the booking page before I booked and paid. The customer service has been good but unfortunately there’s not much they can do about the noise. I believe the Menlo park community are trying to protest the train horning.

The amount of noise is insane! There is a passing train with very loud alert every 15mins. Starting 5AM and up until 12AM. It is impossible to get decent sleep in this place. Also this is not obvious from the listing but there is no reception. Even though google maps states 24/7 reception. I went there 11pm and i didn’t know there is an online checkin process. I spent 25min on the phone before i was able to finally check in. Finally its not a real hotel but more of a residential building under a different name. I was asking where is the reception initially and people there were super confused. Overall extremely bad experience and it felt almost scammy. Surely one of my worst stays ever.

- Parking was difficult - I never got to checkin as the door wouldn't open for me. - Lobby bathroom had male pubic hair in the urinal. It was a single, non-gender bathroom. - Front desk was good but couldn't get me access to the room. Whole effort was Byzantine and probably violated several disability laws. Looking into a lawsuit.

Terrible property experience due to proximity to train. Even with sleeping with earplugs it wasn’t enough. Impossible to sleep with the train honking/passing by multiple times an hour even through the night. Definitely would not recommend.
