We had two rooms for us and our parents. The rooms were spacious and clean. Enjoyed hiking around the property, feeding the chickens and meeting the chill Llamas. Morning breakfast delivered was perfect. Staff was helpful and friendly. A great relaxing stop on our road trip.

Many thoughtful details at this boutique hotel like cookies, tea and coffee in the lobby. Simple home cooked breakfasts brought to your door in the mornings. The room we had was very comfortable and clean, the fire place was a really nice touch on cold evenings. Our room had a peek of ocean view from the seating area but otherwise the property is more nestled in the woods. There is no real “farm” to speak of other than a big flock of chickens. Lovey spot, worth coming back for sure.

The cottage was cute and spacious. It was well appointed including special details for both us, the humans, and our dog. The breakfast brought to the room each day was incredible! Such a special touch. The location is great - walkable to the beach and an easy few-minute drive up to Mendocino proper. I would absolutely stay there again.

This place is really nice! Rooms are adorable and the grounds are beautiful. Easy trail access to Van Damme beach and the trail itself is lined with wildflowers and lovely views. Nice chicken enclosure where you can feed them and the Llama are so cute! Breakfast delivered to tour room in the morning was very nice and the pizza restaurant had a nice selection of pizzas and salads. Super nice staff as well! Highly recommend!

We loved everything about our stay here. The breakfasts were the perfect start to the day and generally consisted of a small frittata or 2-egg dish served in a Pyrex ramekin, with a side of freshly baked muffins or cinnamon rolls, and whatever drinks you pre-selected at check-in (coffees and orange juice for us). It's delivered in a basket outside your room each morning at either 8am or 9am (depending on what time you request the day before). There was a small kitchenette (not in the room itself but downstairs) that had a coffee maker and kettle (supplied with complimentary coffee, tea, creamer, etc.) and a full-size refrigerator and microwave. Don't forget to enjoy the complimentary coffee and cookies in the lobby as well! Sadly, we didn't notice the delicious cookies at the front desk until the day before departure. The staff is very friendly and attentive, and they all seemed happy to answer any questions we had or help with any requests. We were lucky enough to get one of the upstairs rooms with a working fireplace as well as an outdoor sitting area with a view of the llamas and the ocean. It was such a treat to enjoy a fire each night while watching movies on our laptop in bed, and then drink coffee in the morning while watching the llamas start their day and transition from their barn to the meadow. There are no TVs--which is something we would not change! It was nice to just enjoy the birdsong and the peaceful surroundings. 10 out of 10. We will be back!

Great place with wonderful staff, beautiful property and some nice walks starting right at the hotel. The breakfast got a little boring after a few days and a buffet style breakfast would have been great but we would definitely come back!

Staff were very friendly and accommodating. Parking was first class as they have a spot reserved for you. Our room was amazing as it had ocean view with a balcony. Enjoyed feeding the chickens and visiting the llamas they had on the property. Will stay again.
