It’s a nice and family friendly place to stay for a ski trip. A ski in and out resort. Very satisfied overall.

This was a great place to stop for the night on our way to Colorado. Simple, clean, with friendly people. There wasn’t a tv in our room which was fine with us and the building is old. It was very clean though and comfortable. 37 degrees when we arrived late at night in June. Brrr. A beautiful river and trees created us in the morning!! We loved it!

I wish that services such as restaurants and bar and vending shop would have been open later, but it being June and the property being a ski lodge, I understand. Given the off season, the price was very reasonable, the seclusion and peace was well appreciated, and my companion and I enjoyed the restful stay.

Not a bad place to crash for the weekend. Needs a little update. Very clean though. No tv. But wifi worked pretty good.

Very family oriented. Great place to ski when surrounding areas had little to no snow.

I was prepared for the lodge atmosphere get-away that I was seeking. Peaceful, quaint and quiet, no surprises. The Rio Pueblo River babbling beside the lodging area was a bonus and the fall colors were icing on the cake! I definitely will return again. If you want a Holiday Inn..this will be below your standards, however if you want the road less traveled you will be glad you went!

Overall, this was a good place to spend a couple of days in the mountains of New Mexico. The lodge had a great rustic character, along with a great streamside patio and hummingbirds constantly swarmed to the large feeders nearby. The motel room was large and adequate, however, outside noise was constantly an issue. There is no air conditioning, so if it is warm, you must open the window. For a while, very small kids on motorcycles buzzed around the unpaved parking lot surrounding the building. This meant that about every 20 seconds or so, the roar of the engines went right past our window. This place appears to be popular with nearby fourwheeling Texans who come for the weekend.

It is a very convenient location if you are skiing- because of that I would consider staying again. But that’s the only reason. It advertises that all rooms come with a TV- well they do have a TV screen, but no cable or antenna/ nothing. Not even a remote control. When told the front desk - they said “ya you have to bring a fire stick or something. And we will get some new remote controls ordered”. - thanks for the heads up. LOL It was not very clean. (Mainly because everything is old and needs a good deep clean) but had old coffee in coffee pot, Bobby pins on floor, etc. it was fine for the teenage boys I brought skiing though: we stayed on a Thursday night and sipapu restaurant is not open on Thursday nights either. So pack food, and something to plug into a TV. Because after 5:00 there’s nothing to do.

Pretty disappointing as on site restaurant closed early and before arrival so had to drive to find dinner. Staff shortage that wasn’t disclosed at time of booking. Next day the only way to get food was through online app that was down along with a water main break. So again no food other than a package of pop tarts found in their “store”. The room itself was dirty with piece of chewed gum on floor and pistachio shells. No working tv either. Beds were comfortable at least and was more quiet than expected.

We stayed at Sipapu Ski and Summer Resort off-season and it showed. There were people there who appeared to be workers and hopefully everything will be better when the season arrives. We arrived just before dark and had to drive all the way to Taos to find somewhere to eat.

Old and rustic. Gravel parking lot. TV in room but does not get any stations. No cable. No wifi. Heat didn't work. No phones in room and minimally staffed in off season. Beddeing was decent and the shower was hot.

The bathroom floor looked like it hadn’t been mopped in about a year. The bathroom towels look old and discolored. The carpet wasn’t vacuumed well.
