The unit was exactly as described in the listing and offered excellent value for the price. The location was also hard to beat, with easy access to downtown Chicago and nearby attractions. For the cost and convenience, it’s a very attractive option. I did not experience any communication issues with the host during my stay, and everything I needed was provided. That said, based on the level of interaction, I could see communication potentially becoming a concern if a significant issue arose that required immediate attention, though I cannot speak to how that would actually be handled. The biggest drawback was the noise from the upstairs neighbors. At times, they were consistently loud, and the noise carried enough that it was difficult to relax or get a good night’s sleep. This was by far the most significant issue I encountered and is something prospective guests should be aware of, especially if they are light sleepers or expecting a quieter environment. Parking was another challenge, though less impactful than the noise. Finding street parking was difficult, so I would recommend arranging parking elsewhere ahead of time rather than relying on nearby availability. Overall, the unit met my expectations, and the combination of price and location was difficult to beat. The noise from the upstairs neighbors was the only notable downside and is worth keeping in mind if you’re sensitive to noise. Despite that, I found the stay to be a good value and appreciated the convenienc

If you want a full city experience…book it. The location is tucked away in a beautiful safe community. Entirely walkable to any and everything you will need. The beds are very comfortable and the kitchen is stocked with the essentials! But that’s all you need. Get out and explore the wonderful city by foot, bus or train!

The apartment was clean and spacious. We had trouble with the wifi being poor quality and there was no bathmat or hand towel available so we had to go to the nearby Target. Overall, it was fine for a quick visit.

Check in was very smooth. They send a message with access info so check in was easy. Upon arriving at the property it was very nice looking and well furnished on the inside but like a hunted house on the outside. Now to the cons the were, several insects including spiders outside as well as inside the property. There was only one set of bath towels for a three day booking. The couch had a white crusty dried substance on it. The couch and the bed smelled like mildew so we made a trip to a family members house for some bedding. The bed room ceiling has leak damage. The upstairs neighbor is very load at late hours so to have quiet hours is very ironic.
