I had a great experience staying at Super 8 New Castle. The hotel was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained, which made my stay very relaxing. The rooms were spacious, the bed was comfortable, and everything was in good working condition. The staff was friendly and helpful from check-in to check-out. They were always available if I needed anything and made sure I felt welcome. The location is convenient, with easy access to nearby restaurants, gas stations, and the highway. It seemed fairly clean but a little run down. For instance broken knob on sink. No real issues. Had a fridge and a microwave that was perfect but the coffee maker had no coffee, tea,etc to use it. Could not check out breakfast area because there was a lot of people in tiny space. No elevator. Had my room on 3rd floor but being old, I knew I could not get my luggage up the stairs so they were kind enough to move me to first floor.Very good price. Got what I paid for so overall satisfied.

My stay at this property was beyond horrific. This is not just a "budget" hotel; it is a serious health and safety hazard. We were moved to two different rooms, and both were unacceptable. We ended up checking out at 8:45 AM the next morning—more than 24 hours before our scheduled departure—just to get away. The Room Conditions: • Filth & Mold: The walls were covered in grime, paint was peeling in large chunks, and there was visible mold around the bathtub. • Fire Hazards: Most electrical outlets did not work, and the bedding was littered with cigarette burn holes. • Broken Amenities: The TV was non-functional in the first room. Health & Safety Concerns: • Illegal Activity & Noise: We witnessed active drug deals in the hallways. The noise levels throughout the entire building were so high that I was kept awake on and off all night, and my husband was too worried for our safety to sleep at all. • Air Quality: Despite being told it was "no smoking," the building reeks of cigarettes. I even saw a man walking from room to room while actively smoking in the hall. Inappropriate Staff Behavior: The man at the front desk was incredibly unprofessional. He repeatedly and weirdly questioned me about why I was "alone" and not with my husband, despite the fact that my husband was right there with me. His behavior was sexist and deeply unsettling.
