This bed and breakfast is run by a lovely young couple who were a delight to talk to. I had numerous questions before we arrived and they were answered promptly. The rooms were clean and charming. The history of the building is fascinating and there was a lot of literature on hand about the area. The breakfast was delicious, a recipe from the owner's grandmother who was also the previous owner. Stay here, you will not be disappointed!

Great location, within walking distance to dining options and less than 1/2 mile from the Warm Springs Pools; the small downtown area is a quick 4 mile drive from the property. Friendly host provided a homemade breakfast promptly at 9am as promised. Delightful creek behind the property with naturally warm water made for a fun outing and picnic place on a cool morning. Highly recommended.

Anderson's Inn was exactly what we were looking for. Historic, well maintained, peacefull, clean and comfortable. Alma and Matt were very friendly and accommodating. The homemade gourmet breakfasts were delicious! We would certainly stay here again.

We had a good stay at this place(party of 5), we were comfortable and the place was clean but creaky, it is a 250 year old historical house so that was ok. Our only challenge was the shower it was a bit challenging to maneuver things in there. Over all great location, A++ hosts and serene surroundings. A great peaceful getaway.

We shared in the history of the home and community staying at Anderson Cottage. The owners were friendly and provided all the comforts. Breakfast was great each morning. We used the grounds and felt at home. Lovely!

Simply amazing. Relaxing, cozy, and clean. Spent some time in the spring with my wife and son. Really a special treat. We even tried to book an additional night! Book this place! Amazing. We stayed in the Kitchen Cottage which was perfect. Laundry, full kitchen, and the owners even made breakfast items that labeled with instructions and also delicious. We will be staying here again!

This BNB was a lovely stay in a historic building with the friendliest hosts I have ever encountered! Keep in mind that this building is almost 250 years old, so our room did not have any A/C as far as we could tell. Even so, there were ceiling fans and a box fan in the window which kept it pleasant, if a bit humid. The warm spring stream our back is lovely, as is the property and surrounding area. Matt and Alma made us feel most welcome and offered great conversation in the mornings (as well as very unique and scrumptious breakfast offerings and good strong coffee!) and suggestions for what to do nearby during our stay. Looking forward to visiting them again, especially during the cooler months :) ps. Congrats in advance on your new addition, Matt & Alma! All our best wishes, Hollie & Sam

If you like old houses with character and uneven floors this is the place for you! My wife and I stayed in the tavern suite which was the oldest part of the house from 1790. We had more than enough space between the parlor and the bedroom. The bathroom was a bit small, but houses of this era weren't originally built with bathroom space in mind. Everything was clean and well organized. Matt and Alma quickly became friends and seemed to enjoy our company as much as we enjoyed theirs. Because we were the only ones there the 1st night (Wednesday) we were given an entire tour of the property the next morning. Breakfasts were delicious with a hot selection (the french toast casserole is amazing!) and plenty of fruit & vegetables to go around. Everything was prepared and served in a very pleasing manner. There was always plenty of OJ and some amazing Coffee. Tea was also available. The dining table was set with a nod to older pieces from Alma's grandmother which gave it a cool charm. They consistently used beautiful cloth napkins which I really appreciated! The area of Warm Springs was quaint and a lovely mountain type retreat. If this is what you are looking for, the Anderson Cottage will not disappoint!

Great historic property and wonderful hosts. I stayed in the Tavern Suite which had a separate living room and front porch area.

The bed was awful. It sunk in the middle, so if there is two of you, you both end up in the middle. It was our worst night of sleep.
