All the comforts of home in a well run and welcoming charming New England bed and breakfast. Breakfasts were sublime and absolutely delicious . Every morning was another breakfast that wowed our tastebuds. Perfect start to each day. The owners-Mike and Bill were very accommodating and made us feel like family. The entire place was immaculate and decor was beautiful. At breakfast- We enjoyed the view of the yard filled with colorful flowers and friendly birds in the fountain. The atmosphere is lovely and perfect for a couple with nearby restaurants and shopping for all kinds of things. We explored surrounding Maine parks, antique shops, shows and more…and loved to come back each evening to a fresh room. Bed was comfortable and snooze inducing. The fireplace was a wonderful finish to each day. Highly recommend and will return to experience the best of Maine’s hospitality at Elmere Bed and Breakfast.

The breakfasts were outstanding!!! Chatting w Bill and Michael was so much fun!! The room was beautiful but my husband was looking for place to set up his laptop w/in the room. Didn’t find one. But that was ok. The pocket door in our bathroom was extremely hard for me to slide across in order to use the facility. My husband had to close and open it each time. The inn was absolutely beautiful and was very well maintained. Kudos to Bill and Michael! Have a great winter!!

Beautiful B & B with wonderful hosts. Had an amazing a couple of nights with my husband that included personal services and a three course breakfast. Couldn't be more happier about our stay. The room was super clean and the sheets were very cozy. Hope to stay there again in the future.

we absolutely LOVED this place! we were only in maine for two nights, and being unfamiliar with the area i was only going off on online reviews to book, but we got lucky with this place. we were warmly greeted by the innkeepers, bill and michael, and their perfect 18lb dachshund, BENTLEY! they provided local recommendations as well as contact information for a beach shuttle, and parking lots at the beach that would likely be less crowded [they were correct!] the outdoor area is so relaxing and lush, with a beautiful garden, a fire pit and lots of seating, we sat outside and enjoyed a lovely nap in the sun on some recliner chairs. while the property is a bit further out from the beach and downtown ogunquit, and certainly not walkable, there ended up being plenty of paid parking lots, and the shuttle did seem to be a popular option as well. breakfast was delicious, massive blueberry pancakes and fresh fruit. i wish we had time to stay for breakfast the second day! i wouldn't hesitate to book here again, certainly a gem of a property and it's clear they see folks who book year after year. i already miss bentley!

Oh my gosh! What a wonderful experience we had staying at Elmere House. This was our first time at a Bed & Breakfast and we could not have picked a more perfect place! Michael and Bill were such gracious hosts. They offered suggestions on entertainment and restaurants in the area. The whole place is just beautifully kept and decorated...inside and out! Breakfast was phenomenal! Visiting with them both and the other guests while we ate was the best; it felt like you were with family. We will definitely be back next year. -Karen & Paul from NY
