This was a perfect stay for a slumber party as 3 adult women celebrating a birthday. It was quiet, peaceful, clean and easy to find. The bed upstairs was super comfy!! We walked down to the waterfront for about an hour and just enjoyed the space. Something to note is that the cabin sits on a hill behind other larger houses. We didn’t quite understand that and felt like we were intruding but no one seemed to mind us there. Beautiful property! I would absolutely recommend and stay again.

Das Haus war der Wahnsinn. Ein wunderschönes uriges Ferienhaus am See. Hier konnten wir nach unserem Roadtrip noch zu Ruhe kommen und die Kulisse und Natur genießen. Rehe haben uns besucht und Eichhörnchen. Und die Betten waren super bequem. Das war einer der schönsten Ferienhäuser die wir je gebucht haben. Vielen Dank.

The place is absolutely charming—beautiful, spotless, and perfectly located near the water. Everything you need is there to feel right at home. A big bonus: the kayaks are free to use and just a few steps away! Jennifer is incredibly kind and welcoming—be sure to say hi, even though self check-in is available. If you need anything before your arrival, it's best to call her directly, as she doesn’t check her email regularly. I’ll happily stay at her place again if I’m in the area, and I 100% recommend this little gem!

Really an exceptionally beautiful little spot on the water with easy proximity to downtown Olympia by car - about 15 minutes. This cabin made a one-night business trip into a nice little respite away. Leave even time in between meetings for a beach walk!

We loved this beautiful and tastefully appointed cabin in Olympia. It was a great stopping point en route to the Oregon Coast for a camping trip, and our young kids enjoyed seeing the lake. It was very safe which was fantastic as we didnt see the need to unload our hitch and cargo box which made it much faster to carry on with our journey the next day. The hosts are fantastic and communicative; I would stay here again!

We had such a nice stay in the Heron House! The bed was very comfy, and both bathroom and kitchen were well stocked. We really enjoyed the view and appreciated how supportive they were with our check-in. This was the best stay of our trip and we will absolutely seek it out again for future trips to Shelton.
