We only stayed one night, but we were obsessed! The property was gorgeous and the rooms were so cute, clean, and the beds were cozy. We were disappointed we didn’t have more time and discussed booking it again for a whole weekend! It was dif type of check in than I was used to, but went so smoothly. Having a room with a keypad was extremely convenient too! We loved it!

I was at the Rockport House a week ago when I took a whale-watch trip down in Gloucester (close by!) on my birthday. I booked it last-last-minute- so I missed the emails to allow me to register and receive easy instructions for entering the house without staff inside. Yes, that was the newest twist for me in fine lodging- not having staff at the house- but really, it's no different than most Airbnb set-ups these days, right? So, instead of having a code to enter the house (and into my room- the individual code is the same) I gave staff a call to let them know I'd arrived, then from that point on, our text communications were easy-peasy. I loved the grounds, abundant with flowers, and the history of the house. I didn't mind the stairway to my third-floor guestroom. Loved the bed, lighting, shower, fridge, the coffee. I even enjoyed the inconvenience of my TV remote's battery being dead! Texted the staff- got an immediate reply and was led to a supply closet in the living room downstairs where there were batteries galore. Easy-peasy. The only snafu for me was in leaving (somehow!) my old reliable electric toothbrush behind. I communicated with staff, who conveyed that it had mistakenly been discarded, then offered to replace it. As it was a model that was no longer available (but I had a half-dozen replacement brush-heads for!) our totally acceptable compromise was that I was immediately mailed a half-dozen replacement heads for my NEW toothbrush. I'm a happy customer!

I loved the room size, the activities nearby too were also really cool. Loved the digital key with the numbers as well. The only issue I had was the shower curtain rod was a bit finicky and fell a couple times, and there was a bee in the room when I first got there. Other than that, great place to stay. 👍

Huge room. Bed and comforter made it very cozy for sleep. I like the added addition of a refrigerator and a microwave. Perfect amenities in the bathroom as well. Would love to come back someday.

A beautiful Victorian house converted to rooms. Staying there is like being at home. Grounds are very well kept and house is immaculate. No elevator, so you may have to take stairs.

I don’t usually bother writing reviews but this stay was above and beyond. Loved the design and a very spacious double queen room! Fridge, microwave, keurig and floor space for a pack n play (which we had to bring). Main room lobby had more supplies and board games.

We loved everything about this place! The room had a nice layout. The Roku TVs were easy to use and it was great that we could easily sign into our own streaming service accounts. The refrigerator had a Brito water container with filter. The room also had a small counter top stove, a microwave and a coffee maker. The only complaint that I had was that I got pretty warm in the bed despite having the AC set to 65 degrees. There was no fan in the bedroom.

It was my first time staying at the Rockport house and I thoroughly enjoyed it even though I was here only for one night. I would love to come back and explore the area since I haven't been to Rockport in years! I will definitely come back to stay
