Pride • Family Trip

From the beginning this trip was messed up. They had a stock photo from Shipwreck Island set up to look like the pool/slide and everything else was on the Summit's property. When confirmed, it once again listed Shipwreck Island picture, with our condo reservation right below it. The Summit does not have these features but felt we were hoodwinked when we realized the entire reason we booked, we were lied to. Then onto arrival: there was no one to greet us to explain we needed wrist bands to enter/exit The Summit. We did not get told this, we were waved through the gate then treated like we were trespassing until the next morning when we went to find out what was up. Because no one was there, we also did not receive the gate code to the beach until the next day We had to use public beach access' which I am not complaining about using...just we were to be given a code and were not. The two hot tubs on the property were cold, like the heated pool was warmer, for three out of the four days we were there. Tphe pools close at 7pm?!? Even earlier if it rains. Now on to RealJoy rentals. The condo was BEAUTUFUL it really was, had everything we could want...except the property that was listed on the condo rental. It was only after our stay did they even truly want to help. They even said "we are worried if we give you 1 night refund, you'll still leave a bad review." We were lied to through FALSE ADVERTISING. And felt they only wanted a good rating even though it was a lie
