We had a very pleasant stay at the Traveler's Lodge in West Yellowstone. Clean room. Reasonable rate. I was pleasantly surprised by this budget motel. The building is obviously old, but the room interiors were nice. Strong water pressure in shower! Close to Yellowstone entrance with great dining close by within walking distance. Why pay more?

I liked the unique room setup with the stairs leading up to the bed area. I think that was only a handful of rooms, though. Lobby pictures don't match reality. Coffee was okay. Definitely felt like I stepped back in time to a motel from my childhood. Overall, not bad for the price. Super convenient to find when I exited Yellowstone (just keep going straight and it's on the right), which is excellent because I hadn't had GPS signal all day. Parking lot on the left side was tight and full, so I parked on the street. I would have preferred a space that I could see from my room.
