We had a great time staying here. The cabins were very nice, and the people were very nice. I liked hearing the sea lions bark in the morning. The landscaping and flowers on the property made it very pleasant. You can see the Pacific Ocean from all the cabins. Breakfast bags made to order. Clean and comfortable. Recently, I spent 2 nights at the Crest View Lodge in Trinidad, in Ca, each night in a different room. The rooms are in individual cottages and about a 14-mile walk from the ocean. A very peaceful and peaceful place, right across the street. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. The mattresses were clean and the beds were comfortable. This is a true treasure of the California coast. Its the largest island of northern California, with beautiful beaches, vistas, and redwood forests. This place was a great home base for our family to explore the redwoods. We knew it would be a good experience from the moment we arrived and the well-kept grounds. The woman who checked us in was the friendliest person we had met on our whole trip making us feel so welcome. She always answered our questions or attended to our few needs without hesitation and with a smile on her face. The cabin itself was charming and cozy. We enjoyed the two bedrooms for our family of four. The entire cabin, including the fridge, oven, and hot tub, was nice and clean! It was such a nice, quiet place to return to after our day. We will unquestionably suggest Viewcrest Lodge. Excellent customer service. We were not let down by our decision to stay here based on previous reviews. The entire crew we met was courteous and appeared eager to be there. Although they did not enter cabins, they provided any additional necessities you might require. We had a king cabin with a fire, a jacuzzi, and a full kitchen. Everything was spotless, and we felt extremely secure. It's close to the ocean and parks. We didn't utilize the deck because we were out most of the day, but it was there. We took in takeout, and it was wonderful to have it back and eat at the cabin. We used the fireplace in the morning and evenings to warm up the area. It was fantastic that breakfast was delivered the following morning. Knowing we didn't have to hurry out to grab something to eat in the morning was much more peaceful. There were also a lot of brunch alternatives. We did take some groceries to prepare in the cabin before heading into Trinidad to Murphy. The bed was comfortable, the room was comfy, and it had attractive home décor. We couldn't have wished for anything more than a bag of trash we frequently saw near the recycling center where the crows kept picking up trash and it was left on the ground for several days. For spring break, we visited the redwood national forest. Just a few minutes drive from the park, View Crest Lodge is an excellent option. The personnel were both incredibly cordial and helpful, in addition to being tidy, cheerful, and well-appointed. My spouse and my two teens were on vacation. We were pleasantly delighted to discover a 2-bedroom cabin, with one bedroom with a king size, and a second room with two queens. My children were delighted to have their own bedroom and space to themselves. There was a large dining table for six people in the fully equipped kitchen. Lots of fluffy, tidy linens. We would hand out a breakfast request form to the office every day. Every evening, each of the breakfast options were ably brought to the cabin, leaving everything clean and ready to be consumed. So handy! They also have a guest laundry that we utilized as well as fun dads to borrow from the office. Although each cabin featured cable, the kids liked picking their favorite. Although View crest was a charming family-run company, I could tell they paid attention to what makes for a pleasant stay. The employees were very kind and responsive.
