This was a very unique place to stay. A house boat permanently docked. Fully equipped with a kitchen and utensils. Great location. Sitting on the front deck was a nice treat.

Super clean boat we stayed on. Property was very nice and clean. We learned upon check in that we could use a private beach club and pool four miles away. This was not described in the listing and was a pleasant surprise for us. Only negative we had was we were told upon checking in that you couldn't flush toilet paper. This was not a deal breaker but rather weird. Suggest to property management that if you have to throw used toilet paper into trash can they should do a daily housekeeping service as seems very unsanitary. Even with that we would stay again as this was a great experience sleeping in a houseboat was extremely cool.

We really enjoyed staying at Yacht Haven, the floating rooms were very comfortable and the views in the morning and dusk were outstanding. We were visited by manatees almost daily and the other marine life was fun to watch as well. We liked Marathon for what it had to offer and Yacht Haven was nicely located for getting out and about. We would not hesitate to stay there again.

I would recommend Yacht Haven for your stay. Check in process was great. The property is very well kept and the room was very clean and well-equipped with everything you need and two mini split A/C units which kept it as cool as you would ever want it. It was a little bit smaller than expected but was very comfortable for 4 people. We will go back, for sure!!

We stopped at Yacht Haven Marina about four hours before our check in time. We didn't expect to be able to check in, but the office was open and the lady said our room was ready, and allowed us to check in. Our room was clean, the AC worked great, and we had a tv in the living room, and one in a bedroom. We really enjoyed the back deck on the water. We saw a manatee, tarpons, and baitfish. The bedrooms were a bit cramped for space, but plenty of room under the beds to store luggage and such. Yacht Haven Marina was also conveniently located for our activities. It is within walking distance of the grocery store. One evening a group of people across the water from us was playing their music too loudly, but it didn't continue too late.

Very nice alternative to staying in a hotel. Comfortable and plenty of space for a couple or small family. Having the small ‘patio’ area right on the water was amazing. It’s the perfect place to have a cup of coffee in the morning or a drink in the evening. We saw a manatee swimming right behind the houseboat. The living room was cozy and the kitchen was great for preparing quick breakfast or afternoon snacks. Having two separate A/C units made it easy to keep a perfect temperature. The location was also good. It’s nice and quiet, but still close enough to the center of Marathon to make it convenient.

Really a fun experience floating on the marina in our private houseboat. We were pleasantly surprised at how much storage room there was for our stuff, and the kitchen was pretty well stocked for making breakfast or lunch. Daily visits from manatees and some other sea creatures (small sharks?) were very welcomed. Location was central to all the various keys and attractions, including a beautiful beach just down the road.

The stay at the houseboat was Amazing ! Just relaxing on the boat watching the scenery and enjoying the manatees was perfect The boat was very comfortable with everything you need Only negative was the noise at night ( between delivery truck at Publix and the rooster, we also had a little bit of a sewer smell , as they had just pumped out the boats) All in all a very positive experience and a beautiful setting

These boathouses were the coolest part of our vacation. They were spotless upon check in and kitchen area had everything you need for your stay. Having coffee on the back of the house watching the Manatees was an added bonus! Check in was quick and easy. The location is perfect! Publix, along with bars, restaurants and other shopping is close by.

this place far exceeded any/all expectations and was just an absolute joy to stay at. the area was just right off the main drag but also felt extremely secluded. the facility was charming and gorgeous. I was weary about the space and level of comfort from other reviews i had read, we shared with 4 adults and 1 child and were beyond satisfied. SO spacious and the sleeping areas were extremely comfortable. the other negative reviews that had me concerned were proved wrong. I simply cannot say one negative thing about our stay here. We are not ones to return to previous locations, simply because there is so many places we want to see, but we would/want to definitely make it back here someday!

Stayed for 5 nights friends. The house boat we stayed in was new . Plenty of room for the three of us. Great for a small family. The office was very friendly. Such a fun alternative to a hotel room. We can’t wait to book again next year.

Yacht Haven in Marathon exceeded our expectations. The accommodations were excellent—spotless, comfortable, and thoughtfully equipped with everything you need, including a kitchenette stocked with a full set of plates, glasses, and utensils, plus a refrigerator, microwave, and toaster. The real highlight, though, is the back deck. The views are absolutely beautiful, especially at sunset, and we loved the daily visits from wildlife like manatees and cranes. It made the whole experience feel peaceful and unique. We would absolutely stay here again.
