Room size is big, with plenty of amenities. But the room is a bit dark, as many reviewers have noted. Our room doesn't have a full-length mirror, so this isn't a major concern for me. But maybe it's just one drawback for the ladies. We had a day's buffet breakfast at the hotel. Which is great. Variety and quality are good. The area has one major mall called Suid Mall which is about a minute walk away. There are many food options, but nothing caught our eyes so I decided not to try any of them. A convenience store is a bit further away. The concierge can give you directions. Approximately a minute walk from the hotel. Although definitely not the cheapest, I feel I need a hotel that I feel more comfortable with and know where their standard is because I travel with elderly people.

Saya memilih Sheraton Hotel karena nama mereknya sudah terkenal dan setelah mencari ulasan dari beberapa website. Bisa dibilang hotel terbaik di kota Shantou mengingat tidak banyak hotel besar di sana. Seperti biasa pelayanan resepsionis baik dan tangkas. Satu masalah adalah internet yang agak lambat. Lebih dari itu semuanya baik terutama kualitas ranjang dan bantal.

I really enjoyed my time here. The staff is really nice, even the technician. And then, I need some help when I need to switch on the lamp, and they are all very kind. After that, the food is average, especially at breakfast, the bread and pastries are industrial and tasteless, and there is no egg station.

I spent a couple of nights here with friends on a long weekend trip in Shantou. Before my arrival, Is Qi from the royalty team called me by phone, arranged everything, and got me a room I liked. It's a sheraton, but the construction from the open area to the room is of better quality and condition than most sheratons I've stayed in. From housekeeping to concierge, the service is also excellent and far superior to what you would expect from a sheraton. There are also drawbacks, the outdoor pool appears to be more for work than leisure, no music or bar, and a little waste of the weather and pool. The towels also dated and need to be replaced. Overall, a great stay and went above and beyond expectations.

We stayed at the Sheratons Shitou. The staff at the club were great and kind. My request for a room close to the elevator was accepted. I want to personally thank the club staff. They were very responsive and kind. My dad, brother, and I had a great time all around. We will come back here again and will recommend the hotel to anyone visiting Shitou.
