Simply put, it's a contemporary, well-run hotel that is only minutes from Amsterdam's heart. The managers Ron, Pamla, and Rosa will assist you in making your stay as pleasant as possible. During your visit, ron, the manager, will be very welcoming and helpful, including rosa, who is also a nurse. The rooms are spotless and functional, and we are separated from the bathroom. There is a shower in the room, and we are a separate entity. The mattresses are comfy, and two pillows are provided soft, firm. Our room, which was close to the elevator, had excellent soundproofing, so I can tell you for sure. One must order brunch the night before and set out a time, and seating is limited due to the pandemic, but ron handles the tabletimes really well. The bus that departs about 25 minutes after walking from the hotel will get you to Amsterdam central bus stop i. The bus departs from bus stop i. Scheduled time, or approximately every 30 minutes, is between 20 minutes. A lovely stroll will take you to Zaandam City Center, which is 20 minutes away. A small Turkish supermarket and a Chinese takeout are both located 10 minutes away. A gasoline station is directly across the street in case of an emergency! The location is great, only 200 meters from train station and the surrounding is very nice. The room is nice and clean as well. However unfortunately the staff not so helpful. We were 2 people in the room and only got 1 key card. When we wanted to keep the key in the reception, because we had 2 different schedules on that day and don't know who will be back to the hotel first, it was rejected by the reception.

I would recommend and will use it again. After arriving, I needed an optician, the reception was very helpful. Simple twin room, beds pushed together as wanted a double room. No issue. We stayed 5 nights and housekeeping changed towels every day until we knew how to stop her. Would advise placing a sign in the bathroom stating that only if there is a room larger than one night, can only be replaced by towels left in the shower. Breakfast was very varied, with many breads for toast or sandwiches, jams, etc. cereals, boiled eggs, yogurts, fruit, tea, coffees, and drinking chocolates. Also, orange and apple juice. very filling. Snacks were available during the day and evening for reasonable prices. We had previously stayed in a number of these hotels in France and Belgium and knew that we would be well looked after in Holland as well.

Overall, we enjoyed our stay at this fantastic hotel. We traveled together to Amsterdam for my wife's birthday. The hotel was excellent value for money, but it appears to be in an industrial neighborhood and is a short bus trip from Zaandam central, so there are few shops and amenities within walking distance. Bus to Zaandam is currently 2. 80, and there is a decent selection of bars and restaurants. Bus to Amsterdam is 6.50, and bus stops are only 5 minutes away from the hotel. The receptionist was excellent and informative. The room, while compact, was ideal for us and was tidy. The breakfast option is a continental cold meat buffet with several bread, rolls, and croissants to bulk up for the day. There are cereals, yoghurts, tea, and coffee available, so I would suggest a breakfast option because there is nowhere to get an alternative. Bitte bring euros as many of the local shops do not accept credit or debit cards.
